I read/viewed the first chapter last night and didn't hate it. It wasn't particularly great, but it wasn't too bad either. Maybe I liked it because I was very drunk. :? I'll read the other chapters when I'm sober, whenever that may be.

This feels like a completely different entity to me.
A boring one.
Seconded.

Saiyans being able to "revive themselves?" I smell failage here guys! And even if they could "revive themselves," why would that be a problem for Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan?

Upon just now noticing the DB:AF comic, I have come to the conclusion that RN sucks copious amounts of ass.

In my eyes, Toyble's comic has restarted Dragonball. I've never read a fan comic that felt this spot-on. Ever. Despite the years of bullshit, the comic has made AF into reality for me. I can't wait to see more.

Gaaaah... FIRST HE GETS A MUSTACHE AND A FRO, NOW HE'S FAT! WTF MAN?! HOW COME PEOPLE HAVE TO FUCK WITH A PERFECTLY AWESOME CHARACTER!

I feel like I'm going to cry. No, seriously, it's cool. xD

Although some of the characters have been nailed down pretty well (there are exceptions), the way the story's progressing stale. Like, Gohan automatically assumes that something bad has happened to Videl because she isn't home? She has legs and she's probably bored shitless in the house all day, why not pick up some Maxi pads with Chichi? (Chichi wasn't there anyway. In fact, where is Chichi? And Bra, no one's worried about Chichi or Bra!)

Another thing is that I don't like the lack of variety with the angles. The fact that it's not Dragon Ball like at all doesn't bother me, but the fact that most panels have the same angle bothers me to no end.

I will say that the coloring sexy as hell, and I love it! Other effects with the art are also sexy. And, I loved the angle used for Roshi's nurse, as well as the nurse and her personality. Oh, and when Raditz appeared in that last panel... huaaaah. I had a fan moment. And I'm not even a Raditz fan. xD

Lots of characters seem to be thrown away, though. Like, what happened to the nurse, Chichi, Bra, Pan, and Yamcha. Weren't they just there? Where'd they go! Aren't they (not including the nurse) somewhat important?
What's scarier than a DBZ H-game?

Haha, when Bulma asked Trunks if he wanted to ask Vegeta to come, he said "Fat chance". lololollol!!!1111!!1 Man...old age has made Vegeta a real douche'.

Also, I noticed how the company is called "Satan Enterprises", but he is still referred to as Her-cule....hmmm.... :?

And if you want to be all technical...this happens after GT, right? So Boo shouldn't really be there...

Overall...I think its okay, the coloring is excellent, but the art itself needs some work.

I prefer Toyble's better.

But to be honest, I think a little comic "Adventurer" deserves a look. XD

DBZ is all but dead; soon there won't even be fan mangas to create topics about.

The board isn't exactly a rapid 100-threads a day place, I hardly think beating AWAY topics is the way to go...

Hm the art's good in some places and ok in others. I don't have any room to talk since my art is pretty rough especially early on. Still, I'd love to see Elsewhere colored half as well as that.

Colour is nice, linework can always be cleaned up further - but good story, pacing, characterization, and dialog is key. You sir, have that in spades.

Quantity doesn't equal quality. A few good DaizEX threads are better than the whole of GameFAQs.

Ah Desire, I can always count on you for support. Thank you :)

Incidentally, it does make me curious how may people on this board know about/read Elsewhere or even like it. I know we're not supposed to plug our stuff, so I just let my signature speak for me. *hides*

I started reading it yesterday, and I'm really enjoying it, as much as I enjoy Toyble's work, it's really refreshing to read something that is a little different.

Keep up the good work.

I'm not sure if I told you already, but I read your comic and I think it's awesome. I look forward to seeing more.

It's a nice try but the art just doesn't cut it for me (the coloring is OK though).
"Its compleatly in color and liscened, plus its FREE."
So, is like Toyble's stuff not FREE? And if I started selling merchandise for RN would it be OK because it's "liscened?" Like compleatly liscened?

Come on people, these red lines under mis-spelled words are there for a reason.
