Ok guys, I just thought of this. When DB began Goku was 12. Now, when DBZ ended how old was Goku? I guess that he was about 45-50. Additionally, Vegeta was DEFINITELY in his 50s. So how old was everybody else? And how long can Saiyans stay young looking?

If that timeline is accurate, then Vegeta is 52 at the end of Z, and Goku is 47. Not counting the RoSaT.

I don't believe a Saiya-Jins life span is ever specifically stated, other than that they stay in there Prime for most of there life.

My guess would be that they probably live from 90-150 years, staying at around 27 years old looking for about 3/4's of that time.

Vegeta was roughly the same age as kid Trunks when Planet Vegeta blew up. I'm guessing he was 7 or 8 when Goku was born

No Bulma was 16. She even said it. So that helps in a way. But you must have the ENTIRE Vol. 1-42 to figure that out. And I only have the complete DBZ and 2 DBs, so I can't tell how old anyone but Gohan Trunks or Goten is in the manga.

Absolutely not. In the 1st volume of the manga, Goku tells Bulma he's 14 years old, and then she says he's only two years younger than her.

Then, in Vol.4, Goku says that he's 12 years old. If he has spent one year (?) training with Kame Sennin, that means that he was in fact 11 in the beginning of DB. So Bulma is indeed 5 years older than him.

The training was only about 7 and a half months. There's nothing to indicate that Goku wasn't already 12 when he met Bulma. In fact, the dialogue suggests he was when he says he thought 12 came after 13.

Also of note, Krillin is a year older than Goku. Bulma, Yamcha, and Tien are the same age. And Pilaf was 34 when he first appeared (making him 74 when he shows up in GT).

Not counting RoSaT or time dead. If you count both he's physically 40 and chronologically 48.

Saiya-jin life span wouldn't be something easy to figure out either. We don't see Vegeta passed the age of 59 and Pan was only 1/4 Saiya-jin, though she did make it to at least 109. My guess is the average Saiy-jin lives to between 80 and 120.

Piccolo's chronological age during Cell should be 14, I think. You say 13 in one part.

Well I don't know 100% on Velese's age (that was researched), but Goten's age is accurate if you count it up.

A little bit of confusion in GT since they make Goten look like a teenager, when he is REALLY not. GT takes place 20 years after the Majin Buu Saga, where Goten was 7. So yeah, he's 27.

Also, isn't Goku about 5 years old in GT, instead of 13? Since by that time they had started drawing the characters size's appropriately for their age (like Trunks and Goten in the Buu saga, who appear about the same height as 13 year Goku in Dragonball)

Or TOEI didn't think it through. I'll go with the latter.

At the end of the 28th Tenkaichi Budokai, Goku is age 47, biologically 48, not 40. So that list of yours isn't really accurate.

No. No. No.

GT is 5 years. The anime does not give a span but the Perfect Files do. 5 years. There's no 'obviously' about it, Pan is 9 in GT. The whole 10 years thing is one of those fan mistakes that's spread and become 'fact' like the Freeza and Goku powerlevels. Thus all of your GT ages are 5 years too high.

Also, Goku's 12. He's 12 during the Pilaf through RRA sagas so 12 is what the Dragon would have made him in GT. (He states he's 12 at the tournament and it's inferred by his phrasing that he was 12 when he met Bulma and the RRA arc takes less than a week.)

Okay, Goku turned into a 12 year old. Typo. And consider Goku's true age to be the same as ChiChi's. The reason why it's like that is because he's been dead for 7 years, etc etc. I just factored in the aging. His body thinks it's 40 when he's really 47. Know what I mean?

And I thought GT actually said somewhere that it was 10 years later. Pan being 9 just doesn't fit for some reason. But it does make it better for the ages of everyone else.
