Goku in the lava

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

The thing is, Freeza's survival of all the thrashings Goku administered essentially MAKES him 'durable' doesn't it? If Goku had the same things happen to him, do you think he'd have survived? No, not a chance. Goku, having been cut in half with a Kienzan, would almost certainly be dead. I guess one way of thinking about it is 'would the explosion of Namek release more energy than Cell's self-destruction?' (that killed Goku) It must just be a feature of Freeza's 'race' that makes them extraordinarily resilient.
Agreed.

I equate Freeza with being the roach that refuses to die,no matter how many times you stomp it. Well,at least until you pull out the Raid spray. Raid Spray=Trunks.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

Trunks is the COOLEST exterminator EVER.

Next to Chuck Nor-- *is shot*

I feel as though a piece of me has died for resorting to posting something like that, let alone doing the "super small text" thing that just makes everyone have to copy/paste the text or not give a crap. But I'm one of the cool kids now!

That really doesn't help 60% of America's (dub watchers) fan base's view on Freeza. Not to mention that Linda Chambers-Young doesn't even know what gender Freeza is.

But um yea...water...not lava...

I would assume she would know as the scripts kept referring to her character as Lord Frieza.

Well, I was just going off of what was stated here. But I wouldn't be surprised if she were to be a bit confused given the fact that she was spouting lines about breaking nails and turning on big blond men.

That's the first time I ever saw Ms.Young and not to sound rude but she looks a little like 1st form Frieza.

Just add these ingredients to the post (not necessarily in this order):

,
If
attack
it
a
Goku

That should do it...
It's all GOOD

"If Goku is afraid of lava that means he can't survive a nuclear..."
Fill in the Blank; I have no clue where he was going with that. Maybe he was going to talk about a nuclear blast, a nuclear explosion…a nuclear Funimation orange brick?

I suggest a public reminder of the grammar rules and then fucking ban him if he does it again. I'm all for trying to let people get better but for fuck sakes, grammar should be expected.

Being a dick? Talk to him about it.
Getting off topic? Talk to him about it.
Necroposting? Talk to him about it.
Unable to type with fucking capital letters, after being told to? Put his head on a pike.

While I respect the rules here, I do think you should consider foreign posters. If a post has bad grammar, but good style (as opposed to lazy internet speech à la "u", "ppl" and "thx") I generally have no problem with it. If the poster tries his best at writing English, it's fine with me. By being so harsh about proper grammar and spelling, you might scare off foreign posters, while the point is to scare off dumb, lazy posters instead.

Just my €0,02.

Yes, of course - English as a second language is a different matter entirely. I'd expect the forum as a whole to be nothing but accommodating for such a poster - but, there's generally little need, as EASLers generally do very well. They are always aware of the basics of all grammar, capitals, punctuation, actual words.

Some japanese, chinese and koreans can't speak english to0.
So it means if you are a moderator you'll going to ban me or them?
That means asians are not allowed in this forum?
