As long as you make an EFFORT, and TRY your best to type correctly at the very least, and to have sentences that make sense, you will be fine. Also, we're not talking about 'speaking', we're talking about the ability of being able to type correctly, as well as being able to read full sentences.

For the record, I'm asian, and please don't try to make this into some kind of a racial argument if that is what you're trying to lean towards.

On another note, sorry if I sound hostile and mean, that is not my intention seed.

So it means if you are a moderator you'll going to ban me or them?
That means asians are not allowed in this forum?
Oh my fuck, is that a zero? A fucking zero?!

See, the problem isn't that you used "too" ("either" would have been the correct word, "too" doesn't fit), nor that you failed to capitalize "Japanese", "Chinese", "Koreans", or "Asians". You even seemed to try harder by using capitals and punctuation, I had hope!

But you used a fucking zero instead of an "O". How does that even happen?

Yes, of course - English as a second language is a different matter entirely. I'd expect the forum as a whole to be nothing but accommodating for such a poster - but, there's generally little need, as EASLers generally do very well. They are always aware of the basics of all grammar, capitals, punctuation, actual words.
And like Snail said, don't try and pull the race card, Jack. It actually makes you look more foolish than simply failing to type.

No one is saying that. People are just saying non-native speakers should at least TRY to type as best as they can. Even if you don't use all the right words, using capital letters or punctuation is relatively easy. You just did a better job of it yourself in that post.

And most people in Europe, Africa, and South America don't speak English well either, so it's not just Asia.

There's a difference between not being able to speak properly, and using caps, and generally mispelling every word with internet slang. "u, 2, r, da, det, dat, 4". You don't have to know English not to type that in. Besides, if you don't know English well, I wouldn't recommend you learning it in internet slang. For some reason, I always type with capitals in the beginning of sentences, and I always spell out my words. Why? Because even though I did go to an American public school my entire life (until college of course), I was one of the lucky few (apparently) who actually learned how to read and write properly. I find internet slang irritating and up until this Forum, I was like the only one not using it out of everyone I knew.

what is this a discrimination?
i think you're a perfect man,right?
first it's tiring to capitalize the letters because you need to hold the shift.
i think if this man is a moderator here i think he'll going to ban me.

Hold on guys, we should lay off him. I mean, he has to press down a key. You think that shit's easy? Bastard key has to weigh a couple ounces at least!

I burst out laughing at his reasoning to why he won't make an effort. Then, I read Rocketman's comment.

End result: I have massive abs now.

Now, now, let's be... nice... *finds keeping a straight face takes effort*...
And... Maybe it's just because I'm used to typing with several keys at once... but... *doesn't quite get what's so difficult about using the shift key*. I mean, it opens up ~several! New characters@# for < $3.00 or 50% of 2^3... & that's not all? >_> ok, so that = ridiculous... but still~ (and let's throw a "+" in there for good measure...).

... of course, if you're used to a keyboard that doesn't use modifier keys ever... :?
 *shuts up*

... wait... what was this topic even about? o_o... it was water instead of lava, right?
