Who has the Bardock Special on DVD?

Post by SaiyaMel » Sat Mar 29, 2008 8:40 pm

Some years ago I ordered it off Amazon... but there was some mix up, in that it has the Ginyu episodes on it... so I returned it and requested an exchange for another - same damn thing!

Who has a valid copy of "Bardock, The Father of Goku" on DVD for sale?

I'm not selling it, but you might want to be more clear since I doubt you are looking for the tin case double feature that came out last month.

I'd check Ebay, since the double feature set was just released, I doubt you'll be able to find singles in stores.

How does the Tin Bardock special compare to the Dragonbox version?
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

No. They're TV specials, so 4:3.

Aside from the widescreen, they measure up pretty well. They look brilliant and the audio options are nice.

It's the original Funimation bilingual release I'm after. But it's not like I need it right now or anything..

That's what I thought, but I wanted to be sure, thanks.

I have that one already, disturbed001.

Here's why I stopped buying stuff through eBay.. I hate PayPal and avoid it like the plague now.

If they still exist wherever you are, I'd recommend Suncoast. When I went to buy the Bardock special from them, the cashier checked the disc before I bought it because he heard shaking inside, found it was scratched, and offered to sendaway for an unscratched copy (which I still own).

I miss Suncoast. :(
On hiatus.

I saw a tin that had both the Trunks and Bardock specials for about $20 or so. Has the uncut english and original Japanese on em.

Well, if you wanna spend a lot, I've noticed that it's almost always on Amazon, but it's also almost always $50. -_-

I used to have all of Trunks and the Buu saga on VHS, and the movies. But now, I have the Trunks special in Funi's tin. I know its somewhat cropped, but its better than censored DBZ, and the language option is nice. Not for sale, sorry, but good luck.

That's OK, it's not what he is looking for.

If you don't mind buying some region 4 releases, Madman have a box out here in Australia that has both the tv specials and movie 13 for around fifty bucks.
