Your favourite Image from Anime or Manga

Not particularly my favourite image, but I always found it pretty hysterical. I don't recall seeing Goku ever being that happy to fire a Kamehameha.

He was showing his power off for Roshi in the beginning of one of the movies; I forget which, but I just watched it recently...

That one's the foldout poster for Daizenshuu 3 (as you can sort of make out in the upper left corner).

The Trunks picture that Onikage posted was originally from the anime comics version of the Trunks special, and then was reprinted in Daizenshuu 10.

I think that's in DBZ movie 5. Then Kame-sennin says something like "He's gotten even stronger since he came back from Planet Namek".

Movie Tankôbon. They're just still images from the movies with quotes slapped on. Look for the image of Gohan from DBZ movie 1 in one of the earlier pages of this thread for a reference. Nevermind, I'll do it for ya'!

I remember fully downloading movie 10's 'tankôbon' on DaizEX many years ago as a ZIP file. Can't seem to find it on the site now, though. I have the original ZIP, somewhere. If I find it I'll PM it to you.

Aren't they dirt cheap, even for movie comics? I remember on Yahoo Japan Auctions they were pratically giving them away.

I highly doubt that he'd forget about posting scans of a tankoubon. Especially the site is completely against doing thing of the sorts.

Basically... yes. They took screen shots of the movie/special, and printed them in a manga format, adding in the dialogue. They've been released twice over the years, but if you own the movies, they're not really worth having (in my opinion). Unfortunately, they're also currently doing the same with the anime series.

I should mention, that this has been done with other anime movies, not just DragonBall. But still, they're not really needed unless you'd rather read the movie in 10 minutes than spend an hour watching it.

Got that poster some ten feet from my head right now. Love it to pieces.

And to sailorspazz, Onikage's picture is the one I was thinking about. I remember a picture that could be that that I printed out for a friend of him because she was drooling over it, but it isn't on my computer anymore. The only specific thing I remember about it was that it was on the Tenkai. Sorry I can't help.
