Where do the DBS animation woe information come from?
Sorry if I sound entitled or lack an understanding here as I've only just joined (lurked for months, though), but I'm just curious as to where the tales about Dragon Ball Super's terrible production come from? Is it based on what we know about anime production or is there more that I'm not aware of? I speculate they're in Japanese so it's hard to reach for English searches but i guess I just like to see where it came from? I also remembered a story where Toriyama himself was displeased about Super's initial arcs and that the adaptations were his idea. Perhaps I wasn't checking it thoroughly on the interview section, but it would be greatly appreciated if somebody here can shed light on this.

Re: Where do the DBS animation woe information come from?
I can let some of the animator-specific aficionados speak more to that (because there are certainly comments from animators about the crunch, certainly information about the rushed schedules they had on episodes, etc. that I can't immediately conjure, all in addition to us seeing it literally melt on screen a couple times), but here are some things that tie into the overall production struggles that contribute to the wholesale woes:
I always think it's worth mentioning that they announced the show without a whole lot to go with it (like, say, a logo!). Then there was the "oh wait uhh we have a manga, too!" part of it.
And the timing of it all was bonkers. Resurrection 'F' was still in theaters (and clearly written by Toriyama without any real regard for ongoing story continuation based off of it), its own introductory manga was just wrapping up in V-Jump, Toyotaro almost certainly really thought he would be going back to Victory Mission after its announced hiatus... and then this new show gets announced with only something like two months to go before debut?!
With regard to Super re-telling Battle of Gods and Resurrection 'F', we are told (so take that with some amounts of grains of salt) that was Toriyama's idea, and was part of introducing the characters Beerus and Whis, who the producers deemed essential to the story to children who may not have already seen the movies.
We know that the Universe 6 arc was at least already conceived of in some capacity, because it's mentioned that they'll be fighting those characters outright in a comment provided for the series' big reveal event pre-debut. As you can see, that's not that he was "displeased" with the new arc ideas; there's nothing about that in there.
(And somewhat related, but while we don't know what went on behind closed doors in terms of who all had input into the underlying story content development of the Universe 6 arc, the Trunks arc at least was absolutely an idea pitched to Toriyama from the team above him.)
Toriyama did absolutely later provide some candid shit-talk about Super in his "Super History Book" introduction:

I think that's a pretty good primer. Would love for other folks to chime in on what I missed in this very quick first off-the-top-of-my-head pass. (And please stick to actual cited information, rather than theories!)I had put Dragon Ball behind me, but seeing how much that live-action film ticked me off, and how I revised that script for the anime movie and complained about the quality of the TV anime, I suppose somewhere along the line it’s become a series I like too much to ever leave alone.
