When Super debuted. People realised that GT isn't that bad compared to what was offered in Super.

Is that what it is? I wish folks felt that way about Og and Evolution. Yes I said Evolution. But asked and answered.

GT has always been it has good characters, transformations and ideas but horrible execution.

It's just a case of "It was considered bad at the time but kids who used to like it grew up into non-ironic fans", the same thing happened with Star Wars' prequel trilogy.

It's a fighting game and GT has some of the most particular fighters of the franchise. A SS Great Ape, SS4 and SS4 fusion, and a creature that represents all dragon balls.

Anyway, we are 5 fridays away from the release, and I already have such a non-healthy obsession with this game. I will lose my job, my friends and family when this comes out.

On the twitter post they do say it's the "Next Great Trailer" (capitalized like that) so people are holding some hope for GT. The video itself says it's "A super Character Trailer."

Thats the worst prediction ever, why would they put only 2 OG Dragonball characters, makes no sense, if they wanted to put GT mostly inside then a more logical way would be add exclusively GT and no OG and save that for DLC... but I can assure you that there will be no GT in the base game and GT will be DLC.

We've had 2 trailers in less than ten days, so there will definitely be more trailers until the game releases.
Tomorrow they could continue with the latest SUPER characters (Cabba, Frost, GOD Toppo etc) or make a trailer dedicated solely to the pre-order character.

In any case, with the next trailers we will understand if they will add the GT, the films and the first series.

I think the bonus pre-order character will be either: Android 21 or Beelzebub. Less likely than them, I think Shallot or Bonyu are valid choices as well.

Manga stuff not being included is because of rights issues I think. Although moves are fair game, since Heroes and SZ both have manga moves.

The tags in the first one mention the likes of Great Saiyaman, who is in the video, and the second one's mentions Bardock, who is in the video, so unless Namco is trolling, GT is basically confirmed.

If they keep the transformations from BT3, then we have four Gokus, SS4 Vegeta, SS4 Gogeta, two Uubs, and four Babys, a total of 12 characters at minimum if they're keeping the transformations.
