Totally agree it's raditz to boo again with og db/super/gt dlc alk over again.

At least xenoverse gave us something new
Am I the only person alive who doesn't mind if we still get the Z part of the manga's story retold in videos games? Like, we get & have games that do something else. Like, I agree that they should be getting the other parts of the story by now, but I actually like replaying the story if it's done well.
Only dubs that matter are DB, Kai, & Super. Nothing else.

The Raditz-Buu situation for me is a must, XV2 proved to me that I really need it. Sort of a comfort blanket, I suppose.

I assume people are asking for all the pre-Raditz stories, which we all want. But I understand it's a lot of gameplay before getting to the main attraction, which is what most people want to play. Saiyans, aliens, fusions, gods.
Like a Superman game that starts with the first 3 seasons of Smallville, sure, a hardcore fan would love it, but a more casual fan might prefer to go straight to the guy in tights.
Maybe they will include the DB events as a DLC, similar to what Kakarot pulled off with the 23rd TB but with more than just one arc. They could and should include the pre-Raditz story in the base game, but it's a DLC world we live in now.

And a more faithful representation of DBS and GT would go a long way.

Tears, we got Daima base Goku with fully black hair, without highlights, in Sparking Zero before in any Daima clip. So much better.
A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

I am also hoping we would get a kakarot style DLC with not only OG characters but actually episode battles.... Goku vs Jackie Chun, vs General Blue, vs Taopaipai... vs Tien... vs Tambourine, vs Piccolo.... and also a few what ifs would be nice

Every DragonBall fighting game at this point needs to start from the beginning.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

Dragon Ball games need to do their own thing. Be a source for new contents. That's what they need and must be.

Yer' ol' reminder: Dragon Ball is turning forty this very year. It is not a new franchise.

Imagine actually complaining we have a dragonball story mode in game, lmao...

If anything we have too little of the story, no OG story, could have more battles in DBZ etc...

If you don't like story mode then don't play it but don't complain because we have it since its completely ridicilous, the majority of fans love story mode and love having it in game as opposed to not having it in game, jeez...

It’s not even the story content that has me underwhelmed it’s that the gameplay doesn’t seem to add anything new worth of note, the ultimates that I’ve seen so far, most don’t look or feel all that “ultimate” there’s no planet explosions like in the older games.. Like I look at characters fight and I’m just like.. “can’t I just boot up BT3 and do this exact same thing?”..

I’m working on shifting my perspective to focus more on the competitive side because maybe then it’ll give the game some extended replay Value (despite “e-sports” not being the intent for a game like) and try to get to what ever the highest rank in the game is online..
It's not too late. One day, it will be.

Idk if you can pick anyone's story first but I think I'm going to play all the non Goku stories first

No it didn't. The home release of xeno was people's introduction to demigra, towa, fuu, the time patrol, supreme kai of time etc etc.

I'm not saying a game can't have the same story mode, there should be new content too it's boring.

I didn't like what kakarot did but at least it tried to add content also.

This is just raditz to boo in next gen.

Nah, this game has What-Ifs in the Story Mode too. Not a new set of villians like XV/Heroes did, but it's still something new.

I think what would be good both for the gaming part of the franchise & its community is if we had an actual DB MMORPG. Not Xenoverse's weird hybrid MMO/ARPG, an actual MMO. Like, something in the style of FFXIV. They had one for, like, a year with DB Online, but that got shut down & stuff from it got incorporated into Xenoverse. It'd be nice if they did something like that so we can get more stuff that gets experimental & fucky in a good way.

The voice sounds off..I guess it's Masako but still, it sounds a lot different from the young Goku voices we know.
