An interesting observation: the promo on the site of the Norwegian movie theater was the english dub. I really hope this doesn't mean they will show the english dub...

Was Super Hero shown in Japanese with subtitles in Norwegian theatres? If it was then there should be a chance it will be the same here.

Yes, it was shown in its original Japanese version with Norwegian subtitles in theaters in Norway. From what I heard, the Norwegian subs are basically a retranslation of the English subs and it uses the FUNimation dub names for the characters (and at one point, "Krillin" got misspelled as "Krilling").

Yes, that's correct. But it doesn't mean that Battle of Gods will be. It's distributed by another distributor. Super Super Hero was distributed by Crunchyroll.

Doesn't look like there's much hope of it coming to Ireland.

Ireland: March 1, 2025

Oddly it only seems to be listed for Limerick so far, which is one of the smaller cities.

Polish trailer:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GydYllDXFu0

There is a mistake with the sound mix and the characters have wrong screams.

So I contacted Odeon Cinemas about the fact Battle of Gods is only screening in one Irish city so far, and looks like they will look into getting more places added.

No problem
Wow, TOEI is really going all-out (at least for those of us here in Europe) with this new theatrical run of Battle of Gods.

Now the movie will be playing in nearly as many countries as it did during the original run (according to BoxOfficeMojo Battle of Gods was shown in 20 countries, not including France, where as you say it got a limited run, so the actual total would be 21+).

As of now 16 countries will be getting Battle of Gods screenings, so the 2013/2014 run could very well be surpassed soon. If it gets screenings outside Europe then surpassing the number of countries it was originally shown in is probably a given.

Theres something else I've noticed, which goes back to sangofe's point about what languages the screenings will be. I was going to list the "Confirmed dub screenings" and "Confirmed sub screenings" but it doesn't seem very clear which will be which. For example the Danish listing has "JAANSK" (which I presume to mean Japanese?) in the description, but for the promo they are borrowing the US Fathom Events trailer (which is in English) from 2023, so I wonder if TOEI supplied them those trailers or elements (in Norway's case it is a new trailer from Piece of Magic, not a reused US trailer) in error?

A little surprised nothing has popped up for Spain or Portugal, those two in particular seem obvious contenders as Dragon Ball was always a huge deal in both countries.

Anyway since Denmark, Sweden and Norway are announced, I guess Finland will be too? Maybe other Balkan territories like Greece, Albania, Turkey, Slovenia or Romania?

In any case I changed the filter on the Odeon Cinemas page and turns out there are Dublin screenings, so I got my ticket for March 2nd. Can't wait :D

The director of the Polish dubs of Super and Kai has just made a post on Facebook saying if he gets 2,000 likes within the next week he will make a dub of Battle of Gods for VOD and these screenings.
Dariusz Kosmowski wrote:

And in English:
If only 2,000 unique people like or heart this post by February 7, 2025, I'll make Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods dubbing on VOD and also in March special theaters.
