It would be so funny if that was the final page of the comic. "And then things were bad. The end." Like all of those "bad ending" specials.

And behold... another boring special.

The art in this special (and the other ones by this artist) is really good but I just can’t bring myself to care. Waiting for months just for the main story to come back for a little bit and then back to specials time after time I’m kinda over it.

I’m more invested in the side comics on the site now. The ones by Goten-kun specifically.

Yeah if anything I'd rather have two connected specials back to back. Jumping between is jarring.

I skimmed through the rough transcript (no way I'm watching this shit) and it's hilarious that they really think DBM inspired DB Super lol, they really do believe that and no one will admit because legal reasons, c'mon now, and used the example of the fused namekian jobber on the tournament of power, which btw as a tournament is a lot better than DBM tournament, even with a cardboard antagonist in Jiren.

Next thing is saying Moro was inspired by XXI or something dumb.

Other than that is the same shit about them defending their Bra Mary sue saying Piccolo and Vegeta were never punished(??) and that people want bra to be punished and double standards.

Also said that the tournament is just 1 third, another third is the specials( ) and another third starts now after the end of the tournament.

Told that Goku losing is that he can come back later and win, when the dude didn't even care that he lost at all, he was not even mad, confused, nothing.

So Salagir missed Vegeta and Piccolo's redemption arcs?

No, it's the same old same old running defense for their shitty OC Mary sue, no criticism allowed of course.

I don't think that this a a particularly good comic, but you say 'shitty OC Mary Sue' like you're surprised a comic that people have spent a decade of their life working on has their own ideas mixed in.

This series clearly exists for Salagir's own entertainment—a sentiment common among creative people. If you’re not into it, just stop following it. I barely follow it at all and I get far less aggressive stress from it.

It's hard for someone to spend a lot of time on something and then not get closure on it.

I can't tell you the times I started something that was great and then got bad out I still wanted to finish it to know the end.

That being said Salagir as a writer is going to do what he wants to do as said writer. People are going to get upset and defend the characters they like but as you mentioned its not like he's the new official writer of Dragonball.
