Hearing things from inside the studio due to a bad mix

Some cases that quickly come to my mind are from the Greek dub of some films that were released by DeAgostini.

In the 1st Dragon Ball movie you can hear a woman's voice (probably the voice director) saying "Ωραία, πάμε ένα ακόμη" (Nice, let's go one more time).

In the 3rd Dragon Ball movie you can hear a pencil that underlines something?

In the 4th Dragon Ball Z movie you can hear a man's voice saying "Εν-δυο" (1-2).

Can't remember where I read it or point to any specific examples so I could be wrong, but apparently because the old Serbian dub was made with poor recording facilities you could hear cellphone vibrations in the background.

Back when the original Serbian dub was aired, Serbian TV channels usually produced the dubs of animated shows on their own, hiring a defined set of voice actors (the most famous was
Kvartet Amigo) and recording them together in a room with the guide of a "voice director" (it was actually the audio engineer doubling as voice director). Unfortunately, these recordings were still done in early 2000s with the same analogic recording equipment used in the 90s.

Of course, there were professional dubbing studios with their proper booths and digital recording equipment like Prizor and Voiceoffice (how Loudworks was known at that time) but for some reason, until the mid 2000s, they were largely ignored by most TV channels except for some like RTS and RTV Pink.

Unfortunately for Dragon Ball's case, RTV Pink went for MAT Produkcija, which suffered from the same flaws as the in-house dubs and that's why the original Serbian dub is like that.

I can assure you that the original Serbian dub could've been WAY better if RTV Pink went for Prizor or Voiceoffice / Loudworks instead of MAT Produkcija at that time.

But yeah, like you said you can definitely tell this was done on super old analogue equipment.

At least, they got GT and Kai subbed on AXN. Although, that broadcast doesn't seem to have been watched by many because there is barely info of it (aside from the schedules I showed you, of course).

Yeah, Nikola Bulatović was definitely a miscast as both Gohan and Vegeta. Specially Vegeta with that bad impression of Batman.

Although, he was good as Yugi and Yami in the Serbian dub of Yu-Gi-Oh!, which was dubbed by Loudworks.

But yeah, like you said you can definitely tell this was done on super old analogue equipment.

It is also apparent that they recorded everything in one take. Maybe either to avoid the hassle of making everyone record again or the episodes were dubbed the same day as they aired.

Now that you mention it, I also remember that in episode 17 of Dragon Ball Z, Yamcha's "Resiste Ten Shin Han" line is accidentally heard twice.
