Seasons 1 and 2 were just added today.

Guess any more exposure for Dragon Ball on a major streaming service is good, although I still would have preferred the Ocean dub, as unlikely as that is at this stage.

About the Ocean Kai dub... I've already come to terms that it's not gonna ever be released. It sucks that Toei comissioned the dub for nothing but unfortunately that's a common thing in the dubbing world.

Interestingly France was also included when Crunchyroll started getting the series here, so I guess this was a similar package deal with the UK and Ireland?

Sand Land and Bleach have both been Disney+ exclusives, so I can't say that I'm particularly surprised. I mean, I think that Disney+ is a weird platform but this is consistent with that rest of what they're doing.

And technically, they've had one Dragon Ball movie since Star/Hulu launched... Dragonball Evolution. Because it came with 20th Century Studios. Presumably, 20th Century are also the ones licensing Battle of Gods/Resurrection 'F'/Broly out to Crunchyroll?

Assuming this is a copy and paste of what Hulu got in the US its probably a mix of uncut episodes and Nicktoons variants.

Apparently not, as Anime Blu-ray UK are saying that it's the widescreen version with Japanese credits; and with the French dub available, which presumably wouldn't sync up to the Nicktoons cut. I'm guessing that the series was licensed from Toei Animation Inc and Toei Animation Europe in totally separate deals and the two of them handle their own materials. Interestingly, they seem to have removed the dubbed theme music since it was uploaded to Crunchyroll.

Still no word on Daima's dub releasing over here, but having Kai on a mainstream service is good news for what it is.

I cant imagine Mr Popo being uncut without some sort of disclaimer or something. But stranger things have happened.

From what I’ve read on Twitter, it seems to be a general policy that Toei Europe has implemented to keep the theme songs in their original Japanese versions. For example, songs that are dubbed in Catalan, Galician, and Basque were not included on the Z Kai Blu-ray released in Spain. Also, when I checked Crunchyroll, dub songs are still available in U.S and Latam

I don't know, it still seems out of the ordinary for them to remove the existing recordings. The newly 'remastered' One Piece episodes on Netflix, which have several new European dubs and use purely Japanese footage, still retain the existing dubbed theme songs. Toei Europe are also credited on the recent dub of Digimon Ghost Game, which has a dubbed opening.

This is really cool to see, as Kai will get more exposure on Disney+, and it's arguably the best way to introduce newcomers to this franchise.

It would be cool to see more of the DB franchise on there, although Netflix would be an even better option.

I haven't had Disney+ for a while myself, but I have been meaning to renew it for the new Daredevil season, and the Malcolm in the Middle reunion.

The title cards aren't narrated in Japanese, English episode titles are announced over Japanese captions with the correct titles. Think of how a hypothetical Dragon Box of Kai would have been presented on the dub track.

Maybe there are 8 episodes missing from The Final Chapters. I didn't have time to spotcheck every episode, I just thought it was strange 61 episodes were there instead of 69. On second thought its probably not the Fuji TV edit.
