I was actually completely oblivious to this site, after all the searching and finding nothing but fake bullshit I gave up on finding DB movie stuff on my own so thanks for the link. @ Pain, thanks for clearing that up.

Wow some people just have way too much time on their hands... They have enough time to write an entire fake script and then plaster it all across the web....

Still I guess, At least they have bothered to advertise it which is more than 20th century Fox and their 'precious' trailers.

I'm actually starting to get bored of waiting.

No, no. He said it's a fake script as confirmed by Fox. Ramsey wrote the very first script which is several years (and several hundred changes) old. He's not involved in the current script (I think his old one was actually discarded and the script rewritten from the ground up).
No, Ben is involved. Check wikipedia.

The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

Wikipedia doesn't exactly have a good reputation here at the f0rums.

The only reason you can reference Wikipedia is because it references something else. What is Wiki using as a source for Ramsey's involvement?

IMDB has Ben Ramsey listed as the screenplay writer, and there's no mention of him not being a part of the project any more. It's not guaranteed to be accurate, but I think it's more reliable than Wikipedia.

I always avoid scripts.

I'm looking forward to this movie, but I can't see it having any sequels.

I just see a Speed Racer mishap coming, fun movie, torn apart by critics and mainstream viewers, commercial disaster.

Funny how I won't think either group you mentioned above will give this movie a chance.

Exactly. That's why I see it flopping. I'm not expecting a good adaption or anything. I'm just looking forward to an enjoyable movie inspired by Dragon Ball.

I'm also looking forward to see the movie, but like you guys I fear the worst.
It will probably flop because of the general hate for this show...quite ignorant of people who haven't seen the series in the original Japanese version.

Yep, the typical " I saw it on Toonami, and it the sucked" or "It's just a show about muscle bound super saiyans" crowd. Just general run of the mill asswipes that diss a show they have barely seen but go apeshit when you don't worship their favorite show(Naruto, FMA,Eva,Bleach internet fans etc).

Minus EVA, yeah! We all love DBZ here. But I have all branched out to other Anime. Because of Dragonball, I got into Dr.Slump, then to FLCL, and now I'm totally digging Genshiken 8)

I've branched off into loads of other anime and manga series since I got into Dragon Ball, but DB's still my favorite.

It'd take me an hour or so to list them all here though. ^^;

Actually, I think I watched Evangelion before Dragon Ball Z, since I watched it when it was first airing in Australia.

Dragon Ball/Z are my favourites, though.

And I remember praying for a movie when I was younger. I look forward to seeing a trailer.... we should get one soon, I'm sure.

You're from Australia, that is pretty sweet

Which movies are out in Australia?

I think that someone else should call the author of the script and question him further on it. I'd call him again but he sounded a little annoyed when I mentioned the script and I don't want to seem like a stalker. :)
