However, that is the page that already had a decent quality scan. The one that needs to be scanned over is the one from Weekly Jump (which features Goku in his olde tyme driving scarf {?})

I'm wondering if someone is willing to start on/expand the Namekian language...
If somebody actually creates a Saiyan/Namekian language dictionary like the fanboys do with Star Trek, I am out of DBZ for good. There is no way I will be seen in such a crowd where people are talking in a language that is fictional.

Of course, in the series itself there's no hint that the Saiyans even have their own language. Although Vegeta's attack names are all in English, so maybe English is the Saiyan language?

Yes, the languages just happen to be the same, It's all a coincidence.

In Neko Majin 2, two aliens identical in appearance and clothing to the "DBO Yardrat" have their ship damaged by Neko Majin. While waiting for the repairman to arrive, Neko Majin tells them to tell him a sad story involving aliens. One proposes the following:
"What about The Famous Story? The one about the poor soul when we took over the planet Borobochi?" (no story ends up getting told)

Once their ship is repaired, they leave and we see an entire armada in Earth orbit. They tell the armada not bother taking over Earth since it would be too difficult, their reasoning being that they think all humans are as powerful as Pete Kobayashi and Neko Majin.

My personal thought is that the empire of these mysterious space invaders eventually got conquered by Freeza's empire and that the "DBO Yardrat" is just a slave or friend to Tabaru. The other possibility is that he's the "poor soul" in question.

Regarding Tabaru's origin, since he looks about 14/15, he'd be old enough to be conceived by Vegeta when Radditz was still en route to Earth.

I'm dying to see the full image of that. TT_TT
I want to see the rest of Goku's outfit so badly (and to see if any other characters are featured in the scan).

So has it been confirmed who Table is exactly? I mean, I know he's a saiya-jin but is he related to Vegeta? Maybe Son or Brother?

According to my Japanese friend, Kayoko, Taburu is a Saiyajin (of course) and they give hint that he kinda resembles somebody. Abo and Kado are enemies of Taburu who chase him to Earth.

EDIT: Her exact translation is:
"Taburu and Abo & Kado are enemies each other!"( line in blue)
"It's obvious that Taburu is Saiyajin because of his tail. His look is resemble someone....!? On the other hand, Abo & Kado is chasing him and come to the earth!!!"
What I'm talking about is the text to the right of Taburu, Abo, and Kado.

I hope he isn't Vegeta's brother.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

There are at least some hints that point to the possibility... But they're rather vague and debatable.. Vegeta's "Gyalik" gun is either a play on "garlic" or (maybe) "galactic", but either way it can be speculated as coming from a Saiyan word - as can "blutz" and "zeno".
Just Saiyan...

I get that everyone has their own way of saying DB character names, but everytime I hear "Tabaru" I think of "Seru" or "Torankasu".

I haven't decided which spelling I'm going to use yet. Its easier to type out "Table", but "Tabaru" sounds less like the accidental furniture pun that wasn't originally intended to be there. (The whole Vegeta Table = Vegetable thing).

I guess I'll decide after I hear how the characters in the special pronounce his name.

Psst, I translated that on page 16. (And it's on the main site, too.)

I'd just roll with it anyway, like "Pan".

There is a bit of me hoping that Table is Vegeta's son.... but then there is another part of me hoping he's not
I think I just want some drama

So...I take it nobody else cares about the untalked about 4th character who is either a "DBO Yardrattian" or a Neko Majin space invader? Here I was thinking I found something awesome and new. ^_^;;

I get the impression Avo and Kado are chasing Tabaru because they cloned Vegeta and want him back, while Tabaru wants to meet the person he was cloned from. Personally I hope Tabaru is Vegeta's first illegitimate son.

@Chuquita: I'm spelling and pronouncing it "Tabaru" because, although it's pronounced "Tubble," like you, seeing "Table" will make me thing of furniture. I wonder is Vegeta also has a bastard daughter (...a "bitch?" :? ) named "Chair." :P
