Yep! It's OK that you havn't been on in a while, but you have missed a lot of info on this special.

You could read through the last 7 or 8 pages of this thread (which I had to do a day or two ago after my three day break) but I'm pretty sure that Hujio's review/synopsis of the special covers it all.

So this airs again (in Tokyo this time) on Saturday?

Are there better odds on screenshots (or better yet, video) surfacing from this airing of the special?

I don't see why there would be. The fact that all of the viewers are probably kept on some master list is probably keeping a lot of peopel from risking things and recording it.

It's such a tease on their part, having Launch on the poster, and not having the decency to give her an appearance in the special! I've always wondered what happened to her, I've always assumed she was finally dragged away by men in white coats that worked in the mental hospital she had originally escaped from....

I think a sister of Vegeta's would have been more interesting, then a brother who looks practically the same only with a more boy-ish appearance.

I think she means the ones previewed on the site's front page at the moment. I'm pretty sure the full-size ones got posted on the forums somewhere already, but I don't remember where.

There's supposedly an entire set of character sheets for Goku, Vegeta, and others that came with the sheets that've been posted for Table, Aka, Abo, and Kado.

She went looking for Tenshinhan. Since he moved from one mountainous area to the next, she never found him. Her only Z-era manga appearance never got published in the tankoubon because it was part of two 3-panel strips with a holiday-theme (published only during the Weekly Jump issues they originated from) during the Goku vs Freeza battle. Since we knew what Goku, Gohan, Krillin, Vegeta and Piccolo were obviously doing during the x-mas season, Toriyama drew everybody else at Kaio's, Roshi's, as well as Bulma hiding in the crevice. He also drew Lunch, who was STILL in some mountainous area looking around for Tenshinhan.

@Rocketman: There were design sheets for people like Goku (while wearing new civilian clothes), etc, from the special. We've only seen the new characters' design sheets so far.

Look at the top-right corner of that image!

Goten's got a new outfit, I can see Yamcha's Boo Saga clothes, and Kuririn seems to be in the same outfit he was in at the Boo Saga's Tenkaichi Tournament before he changed into his fighting clothes. We can assume he has hair in the special then.

Seeing that picture, I can better imagine Table being Goku's age. He's just a short guy, but his face looks fully matured.

I don't know why the images were never posted with the podcast.

WHAT?! It looks like a younger version of Teen Gohan's!

EDIT: Oh my snappities I just realized it... Tarble is Goku JR with Teen Gohan hair!

EDIT 2: ...and Bardock Special Vegeta's clothes! WAHAHA!
