It's pretty bad when they can't even get the character images right. I haven't bought a season set past the first season because I know they're just going to release all of them in a "special edition" after. And probably put some unrelated anime movie character on the box.

As for this image? Meh.

I really believe this was always intended to be Season 8's and someone got a mix up in the Art department. Anyway, I love this shot, probably the 2'nd Best Box Art IMO (Only behind Season 3).

I don't remember anyone complaining about the Ultimate Uncuts. As soon as they took them away and gave us the season box sets was when people started bitching.

Image still zoomed in. Color stll saturated. No Dub with JP Music. There have been complaints about FUNi's handling of the series since 1995. And odds are, always will.

I specifically remember people complaining about the Ultimate Uncut sets visual quality (or lack therof), lack of JP music with dub track, using the same script from the old dub for the most part, horrible covers, ect.

With the Ultimate Uncuts, there wasn't a huge amount to complain about, simply because it was more of the same, they had all of the failings of the previous releases, everyone had already been complaining about them for years.

And then FUNimation put out a release with more problems after touting it as the shit to end all shit, of course people are going to complain.

All I can say is thank God these sets are almost done so I can grab the rest and forget all about them. Because I like to believe that I have mild OCD, I figure I have to buy all of them. All I really needed was Season 1 and 2... But I can't have 2 of a set laying around. Maybe after this, they'll go back and release a 4:3 version, calling it the greatest thing never before seen anywhere.

And FUNimation's free time probably goes to the other 109 shows listed on their site besides Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and Dragon Ball GT. Sure, a lot of those shows really have nothing going on with them, but FUNimation has a channel to run and just have tons of stuff to do without worrying about their first acquisition that only a relatively handful of internet fans even still talk about.
