Still too many smiles. Gohan is okay, but everyone else needs to be mad or worried or something.

No. We're just having a little fun. It's not like we're making images saying, "Kaboom's a retard because of his opinion of the movie hur hur hur."

I still don't see why Tenshinhan was cut from this movie.
On hiatus.

Because Tenshinhan is so important?... Honestly I forget about him sometimes, even when watching the anime. :?
If challenge had a taste, you'd be quite delicious.

I'd say he's a lot more important than Mai.

Considering the arc they're adapting I'd say Tenshinhan is important. He had a decently-sized role in the Piccolo arc and at the height of the final battles it was Goku and Tenshinhan together fighting him.

If they did Ten, they'd have to do Chaozu too...

Not really. Piccolo Daimao was able to come along without Krillin existing.

Exactly, since Mai isnt that important, they can change her, and give her abilities she never had, making her almost a completly new character.
Can you imagine if they made the same with Tenshinhan?? There would be hell to pay...
I love Krillin, and Tenshinhan. But it is true that Grampa Gohan makes a better "anger" source for Goku than Krillin. And while Tenshinhan had an active role in the Piccolo daimao saga, it wasn't really important. Toriyama could have chosen to remove Tenshnhan altogether, and the saga would have been more o less the same.
I do hope they have cameos of some sort in this movie, and important roles in the sequel (if there is any).

They've already done a lot of changing to important characters. Look at Bulma for example. In the manga she'd sooner flash someone to get out of trouble than whip out a couple pistols. I don't think that change matters in terms of character importance for this movie. The change will happen either way.

Tenshinshan could've been in this. I'm not mad that he isn't, but it's not like he had no place.

THIS is the definitive version:

JAPPO wrote:Because Tenshinhan is so important?... Honestly I forget about him sometimes, even when watching the anime. :?
Roshi's plan involved him using Tenshinhan and Chaozu as backups. Should the Mafuba fail to trap Daimao, he wanted Tenshinhan to grow stronger to be able to someday stop Daimao. He didn't want a youngster to die so early in his life for nothing. Chaozu was to screw up Daimao's wish, though he couldn't get it done.

Had Tenshinhan not been around, Daimao would have had already destroyed the first city he was targeting. Tenshinhan was able to stall for a while until Goku arrived, even if Drum was beating him up.

Tenshinhan was also held hostage by Daimao, which resulted in Goku having his arm and legs busted since Daimao threatened to crush Ten's skull if he took another step.

*Is almost tempted to photoshop facial hair onto "Goku" now that Chatwin's Wiki page has him with a full mustache/beard combo.*

Getting a kick out of that definitive edit though.

These 'obnoxious' images are exactly what they've done with our beloved characters unless you haven't noticed.

Actually, they haven't done squat with the original characters. They're all still there fine and dandy in the manga. They've made their own version of them for their own production, unless you haven't noticed.
