Yeah I need help with that. I created a separate account to post episodes on and see how long it lasts. Is there another video site where I can post to which doesn't have as strict rules?

Make your own website (use blogspot or something if you don't know how to make one from the ground up) and upload your videos to something like...

http://uploads.blip.tv/

And host those videos (embed them) on the blogspot or whatever you choose to be your site's home. Then use your YouTube account for "trailers" of the upcoming episodes with information and/or links to how to get to the site with the episodes on them. Maybe register dragonsmallz.com or something of that nature.... dsz.com... etc. and have the domain point to the blog (if you use blogspot)

Funny you say that. Because I already created a blog for DSZ. Look at the bottom of my first post. Also, I use Veoh for releasing episodes, and I have an alternative YouTube account as well. I will also release them by torrents at the end. I also have a Blip.TV which I haven't uploaded to yet.

You could put them on something like Megaupload too. A lot of groups do that for direct download links these days, a nice alternative to torrents if you have limited monthly bandwidth.

I've been toying with this idea a long time myself, but I think it's rather redundant if you don't follow the manga, considering what fans have been clamouring for is a filler free version of the show, and this is more of a personal "directors" cut.

I'm not really interested in listening to the dub, but I'll check back to see how the project is going nonetheless, I really think you should consider following the manga, otherwise I don't really see the point of the entire project.

I like the idea but, I don't think I'd be interested if it's not going to follow the manga...

I loosely follow the manga. When I cut the episodes, you would think I used the manga as a guide. But I didn't. I never read the manga. When going frame by frame it becomes what is filler. But I now I use the manga as a guide to see what I should remove.

But..."filler" is what's not in the manga, by definition.

I do leave some things that weren't in the manga. But if you want to say filler is what is not in the manga then you wouldn't get the animation. But that is just me being a smart ass. I won't remove all the filler, just most of it.

I wonder what's the point then. I appreciate the project and all, but how would it be different from other ones? A filler free DB project would be nice.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

There isn't much different. Filler is sometimes needed for better flow in my project, but there isn't much left. Its not like my entire project is negated by leaving only a few filler lines. Also what do you mean by other ones? Other suggestions people have made?

Let me start this post off by saying that I'm not trying to be mean to you Khalid Shahin, and with that out of the way:

This project is really nearly impossible to do. Without isolated voice tracks this will be a nightmare. Even if you have the voice tracks isolated you still have the music to deal with, which no amount of editing skill is going to get right. On top of all that you say you want to mix and match music from the original with Funi's version. That is a total impossibility. Those two scores are so drastically different that no amount of retooling will make it work. And for the final nail in the coffin you want to use Funimation's dub track, which negates the idea of a filler free Dragonball. I'm sorry if I'm overwhelmingly negative, but I want to be real about this and not sugar coat it in any way. The task that you've set yourself to do is impossible/pointless. Good luck.

If I were doing it with the Japanese voices it would be impossible for me even with subs since I would need to be more than fluent in the language that is being spoken in order to cut it right. Also there are plenty of people who don't mind the dub, and my specific project isn't to get rid of filler, but to make DBZ simply smaller.

Anyways back to the topic of the music track. I already got plenty of DBZ episodes done, and I already know of that obstacle. I learned how to switch to a different track, and how to adjust the volume so it transitions smoother. True it won't play the music all the way through, but it doesn't sound bad at all.

Well I'm still looking forward to it. I think our definitions of filler may differ since there's no way to know what was anime filler without checking the manga, but...it's still a great project, and I'd still love to see a simplified Dragon Ball Z. :o

So good luck with it!

I thought about it and I might be able to release a Japanese voice version with hard-subs, maybe even soft- even. But this won't be until the way end.

As stated before, this isn't really for me, since it's using the dub, but It's a really interesting concept.

EDIT: I didn't see that you intend to release a Japanese version. That I may be more interested in. :)

I liked the project better when I thought you meant you were getting rid of all filler and trying to make it follow the manga as closely as possible.
