I was a huge fan of the "Kermit Kombat" series on www.NeptuneCircle.com.
I was also a huge fan of King Kai. I fused them together and got "NeptuneKai". My apologizes for anyone who ever thought this screename contained any amount of coolness or wit.
I've been on Daizex for so long I'm starting to use "NeptuneKai" everywhere I go nowadays.

We have a new Mr. Piccolo!SSj_Rambo wrote:First off, if there was one person I could see starting this thread, it is definitely you (and has been for a while).
Well for me, I have been a long time fan of the Rambo series (and by default, the Rocky series as well)

I can see that one causing a bit of confusion...SSj_Rambo wrote:Saiya-jin Pride
O dear Ed Gorgen, where be thee?
Mine came from my strange attachment to Toriyama's self-portrait of a robot with a gas mask. You'll find it easily enough, whether it's shrewdly inserted into the manga or in the picture along with Toriyama's comments at the start of a volume. I just liked the somewhat-cute little guy, thus I made him my username.

That smiley face just doesn't look happy enough, does it? It looks more like a "I'm going to rape you but I'm being subtle about it" face.
New to the forum? Just want to know when you'll hit your next posting rank? Ever wondered why some users have special titles, and what they mean? The answers to all these questions and more are waiting for you in the Kanzenshuu Member Hierarchy Guide!!

The character Bardock combined with Mexican made up the name "Bardock the Mexican" and that's the story behind the name. Not much, but it's not just a name for me. It's an identity and a interesting take on the character. It's a shame that much of what was Bardock the Mexican is not seen as it once was. I blame the lack of the Introduction forum for that. If only we had that again, it would be like old times.

Er... mine's came from a long story down. Back when Cartoon Network used to have Cartoon Orbit... I registered with a 3-part DBZ name. I can't really remember it, though it had to do with Gohan/Saiyaman... My friend's was PikkonRaditzEarthling0. Later on, I was thinking up a name for my AIM account, so I just took DBZ (since I love it like a brother, which I don't have, sadly...
), Goku (My favorite character, always. lol), and Saiyan (picking the "Earthling" part out of my friend's Cartoon Orbit name and using a different race, presumably Saiyans, since Goku is a Saiyan) Go ahead and laugh all you wanna.

I was 14 or 15, liked the Majin Vegeta episodes and found it was taken. Originally it was 'MajinVegitaXV' which I later changed to 'MajinVejitaXV'. I didn't really mean it as the roman numeral for 15, it just sounded cool to me at the time (EX-VEE).
I use other names elsewhere, but in this community I've kept this one. Yay for a name I made up 10 years ago! ;p

Wow, it's great to see how all of these usernames were thought of!

Mine's my nickname, which was given to me under the most random of instances: a friend randomly walked in and addressed me by it. When we all looked at her like she was a whackjob, she explained that I "just look like a Dayspring," in the sense that someone might look like their name is probably Paul or John or Moon Unit.
From there it stuck as my nickname among those who were there when she addressed me as such, as well as my screename all over the web. The latter ended once someone started stalking me, so I only go by Dayspring here and on Zannen.ca.

Let's see if I can explain this....
First, I put my name into Japanese through a site which translates English names into Japanese (my real name is Jonathan, so it came out Jonasan).
So, I separated the first two kanji. ジョ became シ and ョ, or Shi and Yo. So, Shiyonasan came about and became my name. It's not proper Japanese, but it's my name.
Sometimes, I wish I would've chosen a different username, but then again, most of us have usernames we regret later, right?

Nah, I actually like my username. I can't really see myself without it on this forum.

The general upbeat feel of that opening and "Sobakasu" (the first Kenshin opening) is basically the mode my brain is in 90% of the time. The Time Traveller wrote:Ya know, I've always wondered if you would have ever gotten me singing "KIDOOOUUUU SENSHI KENDAMUUUUUUU! Now I know for sure.

When I first "found" the internet as a 13 year old, I took up the handle "Brokenomochao," out of love for Sonic Adventure 2:Battle on the GameCube, and hatred for the character Omochao from that same game.
My love of Sonic tired, and I became big into Yu-Gi-Oh!, which has a lot of usage of the word Kaiser (like card names, i.e. Kaiser Sea Horse), so for a while, I would use that, like on really crappy Pokemon forums and the like.
Finally, I found a short-lived love of role playing, and, while looking for a character name, I found Hao from Shaman King (Unknowingly, actually, as I didn't actually connect the picture of the character to the series for quite a while).
I put two and two together, and go Hao Kaiser.
Though, honestly, I've dropped the Kaiser on other forums.
