Engadget posts about the new "refresh" of Dragon Ball Z, credits random forum post, instead of Daizenshuu EX (despite the first line of the forum post being "from Daizenshuu EX").

"Also, by footage extended, they probably mean "uncut" or "uncensored". The televised versions are all censored from the original footage."

"How is this different from the remastered version being released here?"

Sure, they're not "in-the-know", but to hardcore mofos like us, that's pretty funny.

It's so sad just how much mis-information about the series is out there, especially for how popular it is. I guess that's what I get for living-and-breathing the stuff. Though, I am glad to see that most of the comments around the internet seem fairly positive. Unfortunately a lot of them are comparing what FUNimation did and what Toei is doing, which is like comparing apples to oranges.

More like comparing an apple and a slice of an apple.

I actually saw this pop up in my feeds today. Ah, well. We did pretty good for ourselves over the last couple days... can't complain :).
