Have we got the US boxart yet? I headed to Amazon and got a placeholder, yet the game ships next Tuesday...

Those two reports on Dragonball Evolution, on Daizex home page, are interesting. It's not that they both overall agree that the game has poor graphics, but how the disagree on the game engine. IGN pretty much said it was "what not to do" kind of a game and one only had to press square in order to beat the game in two hours. Gamepro said that the game could deliver fast action.

Well, I just got the game in today...

I... I don't know what to say...

I mean that mostly with regards to the story mode, and not the gameplay... which itself I also don't really know what to say with regards to...

I was really surprised with the "press square to beat the game" that's just plain bad, there's no point in having the game at all

Just a suggestion for the review, let us know how long you actually played. I just want to see the comparison of you to Chris Roper. He said he could do it in two hours, lets see how long it takes your "average" American working man/woman.

I have the game, and I actually enjoy it. It is a Shin Budokai reskin, and is over rather quickly (Storymode took me 3 hours), but I'm really interested in getting all the extras so I'm playing all the missions, and the arcade over and over.

Oddly enough, they still refer to Bulma as 'Bulma Enchanto'.

So I downloaded a save that had Neo Piccolo unlocked (You unlock him in a Secret Chapter in the Story Mode). He is essentially Ma Jr. They say how Goku has defeated him, but that he has been reborn as a super Namek. Interesting to note, his moves are the exact same as Piccolo. A bit interesting that they decided to give him his own roster spot, and not have him but an alternate skin like Goku's higschool clothing.

I'm still working on trying to unlock the other things like the Omega Shenron look a like.

EDIT- If you'd like to get the save file it can be had here.

If you want to unlock it yourself, you have to get an A rank or above on all 12 Acts to unlock the first secret act. Beat that act to get the second secret act to face off Neo Piccolo and to unlock him.[/url]
