He was in Season 5 of Angel as Matthias Pavayne, is that why you mentioned him?
The Saiyans are very much like the Klingons and Jem'Hadar.

Bingo. Double-points if you know the other reason he came to mind while talking about vampires (don't look it up, that's cheating :P).

Aquaman does stuff. Always did, but Superfriends made him lame and a lot of folks only knew of him as he was on there.

Bulma reminds me a lot of Kitty/Kathleen from the Bartimaeus Trilogy.
For those of you who haven't read the books, go check it out, please. It's really good.

That's just cruel. :(
So he's exactly like Goku, then.

And I definitely agree on the Spike-Vegeta comparisons.

Haha touche (from a guy currently playing Soul Reaver on PSP while on dinner break at work).

Y'know... not speaking for the morality behind their motives... there are some interesting similarities to be drawn between Season 5's Angel and Kain...
To show my appreciation, I'll only beat them half to death.

They are both often fed up with the heroes uninformed nature and aren't half bad with projectile weapons.

( Okay fine she may not be a super hero but...close enough.)
Ha ha. What? Leia is definitely not weak. Physically or emotionally.

Unless I'm missing something when did Leia ever show any physical or mystical strength? :?

Without bringing the Expanded Universe into the equation?

Uh... she shot that Scout trooper in ROTJ! :D

Which I think I covered in my sentence about projectile weapons.
But yeah I guess she could have been Wonder Woman in the expanded universe for all I know. I never got into the books.

I always felt Vegeta had a lot in common with Batman. Less forgiving than Goku(Superman), he's the only one who can stand a chance against Goku(Superman) in a fight, he's not a boyscout like Goku(Superman) and has a lot of money.

The only other comparison I could make off the top of my head at the moment would be Trunks and John Connors from the Terminator series(yes I know not really a comic book hero but still).
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

Wouldn't Trunks be more along the lines of Kyle Reese?

I'll also compare Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer & Angel to Vegeta, they're a lot alike. Seriously.

I would say that Vegeta is more like Spike, Angel was a pussy.
Err, he was saying Spike was on Buffy and Angel (James Marsters joined the cast for Season 5 of the latter, since Buffy had already ended) and is similar to Vegeta ;p

I wouldn't classify Angel as a pussy anyway. If you've seen the 2nd season of Buffy (which, granted, is the Angelus persona), or the 2nd and 3rd seasons of Angel (with his war against Wolfram and Hart, and in season 3 when he goes nuts after his son is ________) in particular, I think you'd agree he isn't a pussy by any stretch.

Now that you mention it, He would make a better Kyle Reese than John, however everytime I see T2 and Johns hair cut I think back to a young future trunks.

I'll remain strictly to movie continuity for this.

Mystical is pretty easy. First of all, it's outright said by Yoda that she's powerful mystically, with the "There is another" line. She has that connection to Luke after he had his hand sliced off and he fell in Cloud City, allowing his rescue. And she has a sort of mystical knowledge of what Luke told her in Return of the Jedi, with that "I've always known" line.

There are fewer examples of physical strength, but they're there. She was able to resist the empire's interrogation techniques. She strangled Jabba the Hutt to death. If it counts, she's probably the best shot of all the main cast.

I really don't want to turn this into a Star Wars debate thread but a few of those are stretches. In any event I can see where that's coming from though.

Ah, I knew there were similarities between the Batman/Superman and Vegeta/Kakarrot dynamic but for some reason I could not put my finger on it. Kakarrot and Superman are assholes and Vegeta and Batman are kings of bad-assery. :)

Hey, they once referenced DBZ. And once I think up a point in regard to that, I'll divulge.
