Discuss your oppinions if you like GT, hate GT, or feel neutral?

I think you almost answered your own question. Someone who dislikes GT probably feels that way because of 1 or more of the reasons you stated.Ultimate DBZ wrote:Do they hate it because of the English Version, or the series itself. Do they hate the English Dub or Music, or do they hate how certain episodes were originally cut out, the Lost Episode Saga. Do they hate it because it ruins the DBZ Ending, because of the sotry plots, because they are a lot of things that don't make sense? Or do they hate it because it was made by Toei Animation and not Akira Toriyama, rather Akira just suppervised it. Does it not give fans that 'Dragon Ball feeling', do people think its bad because it was stupid? And is bad because Akira Toriyama didn't make it himself, or because it wasn't a Manga first, because it moved too fast. Do people like it because its fast, or not like SSJ4 Goku because its not like Super Saiyan 1, 2, or 3 at all.
Makes me wonder what GT would have been like if Takao Koyama had been at the helm.kei17 wrote:It's the fault of Aya Matsui, a talent-less screenwriter. She fucked up everything.
That would've been better, but not as much fun as DB/Z I guess.Herms wrote:Makes me wonder what GT would have been like if Takao Koyama had been at the helm.kei17 wrote:It's the fault of Aya Matsui, a talent-less screenwriter. She fucked up everything.
That was actually more in-line with the end of the manga than what they did with Pan, in my opinion. Before the tournament at the very end of Z, an older Goten was complaining that he was missing a date because of Goku's training.SaiyanBlood wrote:female-chasing Goten.

According to some other person's opinion on GT (not mine) He says this:"I actually enjoyed DragonBall GT because it had the mindless action of Dragon Ball Z mixed with the innocence and fun of Dragonball, It was a perfect mix of both of the previous shows. And the only real problem is the villains usually suck." <------ Not my opinion some other person.Bussani wrote:Personally, I don't hate GT. I can even enjoy watching it. But it doesn't feel like Dragon Ball to me. That said, the movies and filler don't really feel like Dragon Ball to me that often, either. I suppose I'm just too used to the manga alone.

One, nothing to do with Toriyama. I kind of have this... thing about respecting the original source/creator, and if the man says he's done he's done. Almost random people coming in and thinking they know the characters enough to make shit up and call it the real story on television... I'm not big on that. Especially when they do such a terrible job.
Four it's The Goku Show. What, we had other characters in this series? Naaaaah, forget them. Even that kid who was suppose to be the great successor- he's boring, let's just have him get the shit blown out of him twice and forget he exists again. I know the rest of the franchise does stuff like this but GT takes it to a new extreme.
Five, I like Piccolo. And what does Piccolo do in GT? Exactly. Die and end up in Hell. I festered about that for a looooong time before I found out that he ended up there for a reason besides the sins of the father, but it still burns in the back of your throat you know?
So you can't explain it. Just vibes? It's alright. Actually the guy I was talking about isn't my friend. He was just some guy on youtube. In fact I disagree with this guy too. He likes Dragonball GT over DBZ. Not a big deal though. He is entitled to his opinion.Bussani wrote:It has lots of elements from DB and DBZ, but the actual feel I get from the show is different. Almost like it could be a completely different universe entirely, if it weren't for the characters and elements being there.
