Daizenshuu's Majin

Post by Senzu_Bean » Sun Sep 06, 2009 10:14 am

Hello all,

I have been wondering, after acknowledged Shin is stated to be stronger than Piccolo in Daizenshuu, what is stated more about Shin and Dabura and kiri in Daizenshuu?

Not really anything. There's a note about how with 200-300 kiri you could destroy 1-2 planets, but that's taken from the anime.

Daizenshuu also indicates Dabura's power as "over 4.000 kiri"?

No, it doesn't mention that. But in the anime he says that he can't lose against someone with 3,000 or even 4,000 kiri.

Huh the Daizenshu said THAT.

Maybe the Daizenshu was talking about Shin's magic since his magic is on SSJ2 level.

Sorry to be the party-pooper, but what's the point of this thread? Shouldn't this be in the questions thread? :?

Being in the wrong sections doesn't make it pointless.

I am just going to use this thread to ask something else: how did Shin and Kibito know about Super Saiyans?

Because they're gods? Kaioshin oversees the whole cosmos.

That would make sense but they didn't know about Cell or Super Saiyan 2. I seriously don't remember that much about the origins of Majin Buu saga.

They were probably busy during that incident. Even Kaio didn't know about Cell until Goku came and woke him up from his nap.

Plus, as strong as Cell was, he was only really Earth's problem at the time. Freeza was a pan-galactic problem, so even if Kaioshin wasn't watching as it happened, he might have wondered where Freeza went and found out from someone else later. Being the highest tier god, he must have connections.

Not to mention that Cell wasn't active for very long. The whole android debacle was less than a month, while Freeza was around for decades. It'd make sense for Kaioshin to know of Freeza, and look into the circumstances of his defeat, while Cell would just fly under his radar.

I am pretty sure Herms already covered that up but I can't find in his guides. What does the "M" on Babidi's henchmen stand for?

We don't really know. It could stand for "majin", or it could stand for "madoushi". Or it might be some alien symbol that only coincidentally resembles an "M", like how Superman's "S" crest is actually supposed to be some Kryptonian symbol.

A mage, wizard, warlock, etc. It's the word for what Babidi is.

Madoushi (魔導師) is Japanese for sorcerer, wizard, or mage. In the context of DragonBall, the term is used to describe Bibidi and Babidi. For example, chapter 446 was entitled:

魔導師バビディ
Madoushi Babidi
The Evil Mage Babidi

This is also how Kaioshin refers to Babidi throughout the remainder of the series.

Edit: Herms beat me... maybe I should just stop posting...? *_*

This makes me wonder if there aren't crap-tons of epicly powerful beings popping up throughout the universe, only to either die off rather quickly or not do anything of interest to the rest of the cosmos... XD

Kind of like all those secret bosses in RPGs who are far stronger than the final boss, but just hang out in caves and whatnot and don't try to take over/destroy the world.
