I see..
I compared the pictures from the ones in Kaizentai.
The "early days" was expanded to 2 pages (in the original DBox it was 1)
Also in the original they had 4 episode summaries on each page but they have 2 here.
I think it's safe to say that they are going to have all the databook info spread out across all 7 boxes.

It's... so... beautiful.
I... I want to have its babies. Er, or have it have mine... or, well, it's a boxset so...
So beautiful! ;_;

The victim of violent head trauma as an infant [...] he's a simple bumpkin with a fair share of brain damage who's natural talents to work out what's wrong compensate for his broad lack of common sense. But he's also a fighter, through and through [...] he fight until he has, in no uncertain terms, beaten his enemy on terms they can both acknowledge. He doesn't want to kill anyone, or even prove that he can win... he just wants to know he can. He's an ineffably charming bastard who's manly leanings were really incendental, and yes, the fact that he was voiced by a squeaky woman made the combination perhaps all the more charming.

That's just awesome. So are there any English credits on the disc as extras, does the English track have Cha-La as the opening, and what happens for the previews on the English track?
GT is underrated and the International Channel will always be my favorite channel for foreign programming. I still miss it.

I think Tom Dubois of "The Boondocks" said it best for me when FUNimation announced the release of the domestic Dragonbox, after buying all of the Season Sets: "MOTHERFUCK!!! SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT, PRICKS, SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIIIIIIIT!"

LOL! Greatest post ever on this forum!Hao_Kaiser wrote:Hm... Haseowolf also started the original NA DragonBox thread. Conspiracy?![]()
Can I just say... I'm honestly surprised they didn't just throw the cover image of Goku onto each of the discs. I was seriously scared they might do the same thing they've done with the season sets. Hahaha
Hot stuff is hot, though... I have to say.

By copied you mean FUNimation used the original Japanese menu as a reference and completely redrew them, using different footage and screen shots? Then yeah, that's what they did.JulieYBM wrote:The menu--in addition to being awesome and copied from the Japanese Box--get's extra points for the TFS reference.

I may have to drive up to Dallas / Fort Worth and go to FUNimation and say, "YOU GUYS FINALLY DID IT! IT TOOK YOU 8 YEARS BUT YOU FINALLY DID IT!!"
Dear FUNimation,
AFTER 8 FREAKIN' YEARS OF DOING THIS SHIT, YOU FINALLY GOT IT RIGHT!!! YOU FINALLY DID THE RIGHT THING... you have outdone yourself and redeemed yourself as a company. Kudos to you FUNi, kudos indeed.

I'm trying to compare the images from our Dragon Box to those from Kanzentai and I'm wondering if FUNimation kept the screenshots that were under the DVD's?

Here's the original DVD art from the Japanese DragonBox:
