Is it possible for somebody to make an audio comparison between the Toei Dragonbox and the Funi Dragonbox tracks? If Funi's audio is as clear as the originals I am sold. No more of that annoying fuzzy sound.

I'd think the overlapping discs would make it quite hard to keep the images behind the discs. But who knows...

I'm kinda surprised they have the right characters on the right disc. Japanese has Son Goku, Piccolo, Son Gohan, North Kaio, Nappa and Vegeta. So do we.

And they wrote SON GOKU! AND KURIRIN! In the DB recap did they write Piccolo Daimao? :D

Everything looks fantastic, but one quick question. Is the height of the box similar to the originals?

As a plus, they named their attacks the way their suppose to be called like Genki Dama, and etc.

Looks like it might be normal dvd case height. Since they over lap the disc.

This is amazing! I bow to you, FUNi... The Japanese-version fans are forever in your debt! I can't wait to get mine and I shall provide comparisons with that Japanese DragonBoc if someone didn't beat me to it by then.

I'm noticing some minor differences between the pics in this thread and the pics on Kanzentai's DBox 1 page but they're pretty insignificant. Overall, this is freakin' amazing and so much like the Japanese stuff!

Damn the discs do overlap. That's my number one complaint, otherwise good job FUNi.

Damn, I can't wait to get mine really soon (I really love Right Stuf). I'm really digging the images of the booklet and disc menus where they're finally acknowledging the Japanese version and flat out ignoring the dub. The booklet also put a smile on my face when I saw that they gave the original names for the characters (I never thought I'd see Funimation acknowledge the name Kuririn over Krillin).

Maybe Cha La but not Zenkai Power. That song drives me crazy with more than one listen. Now if it was We Gotta Power and Were Were Angels it would be much better.

Which reminds me, has the next set been announced yet for a release date? I can't wait for the sets with those episodes on there.
GT is underrated and the International Channel will always be my favorite channel for foreign programming. I still miss it.

Absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately I'm waiting for Rightstuf to ship my with One Piece Season 2 Fourth Voyage but it looks like the wait will defiantly be worth it. Thanks for the pics and info.
