Haha, that scene is hardcore man, it should have been in the trailer.

Aw, c'mon! Let me have a few laughs. I've been asked so much about all the "cursing in the Japanese version that FUNi won't let us see" or whatever and this was the perfect way to show my outlook on the whole thing.

I just got off the phone with an employee from my local Target store. I asked her if the Dragon Box was going to be released tomorrow or on the seventeenth. Target's online listing for the set says it will be available on November 10, 2009, but this might just be a non-updated page. Anyway, her response was, "I honestly don't know when the product will be released." It almost seemed as though she didn't even care. I then asked her if I could call back in the morning to see if the product is in stock, and she said, "definitely."

I know but she just seemed a little agitated. She might have even been a little annoyed that someone asked her about "Dragon Ball Z." I feel embarrassed talking about the series in school sometimes because they make fun of me because I'm a fan... plus they make that gay joke about Dragon Balls.

No worries. Toriyama made that "gay joke about Dragon Balls" in the first chapter of Dragonball. Just laugh and run with it.

No worries. Toriyama made that "gay joke about Dragon Balls" in the first chapter of Dragonball. Just laugh and run with it.

It's alright that he did, I mean that's what makes the story comedic, but they'll bring it up all the time if you just mention balls. It seems that in modern times you have to say "no homo" for every little thing... I could care less how people interpret what I'm saying, though.

That was a VIZ-ism. Here, Herms went through a good amount of the DragonBall manga and told us where VIZ took liberties.

Man so what, I really didn't care about people who made fun from me earlier when I was 15, that rubbish like you're immature if you watching animated series but they are actually a lot immature then you))))

But I never had trouble with this, there is a big comic book comunity in CZ and comic books are quite popular here and also nobody here knows about Dragon Ball, only few people.....

I also listed Dragon Ball as one of my read literature when I was graduating right next to Rashomon from Ryunosuke Agutakawa, I made it for fun, because nobody here knows that and when'll teacher ask me about it, It'll be fun to say what it's about......

Hey, guys. I noticed from the screenshots waaaay earlier in the thread that the menu is in 16:9. However, if played on a 4:3 TV (like I'm playing it on right this moment) the menu will appear in 4:3 rather than letterboxing. I think that's actually pretty cool that they did that. Has FUNi made a menu like that for any of their other Dragonball releases?

I know this isn't a great picture, but here's an example of what I'm talking about.

I just bugged Target again, this time through their online merchandise phone number. I explained everything and even provided listings from Amazon and Wal-mart, but the man said he can't speak for the other stores, so Target is probably right... should have mentioned that even FUNimation listed the new date on their site, oh well. If I can purchase my Dragon Box a week earlier than I'm supposed to and get it for the best price around, I'm fine!

After looking at several pictures mainly of the spine of the dvds / dragon book l can't help but wonder how much of Gohan's image are we going to be losing. Though its not really a big deal I just want to know / see what the full image will look like in the end.
