Those are Keshi-gomu figures. "M.U.S.C.L.E." was the American name for the Kinnikuman line of keshi-gomu figures, which was very popular in both America and Japan.
Thanks for the info Herms. I had a feeling it was something like that but these are the first Keshi-gomu figures I've bought so I'm not too well versed on the series.
B wrote:Hey Mike, I noticed in your plethora of awesome, specifically the Nidoking pic, you've got a Super Buu creepin' in the corner. Scrolling down, it seems the full figure is of him giving the thumbs down. Where'd you get that? How big is it?
The "thumbs down" Super Buu is part of Bandai's HG gashapon series. He was originally released in HG 8 but was recently rereleased in HG SP 4. The SP 4 release is a "renewal color version" so basically it is the same figure but with a slight paint redeco. I'd say he's around 3-4 inches tall. I got mine from HLJ.com.

I kinda ordered these all at the same time in like September, but they all arrived at different times lol.

Tenchi OVA 3 Vol 3, and movie's 7 and 9 (burried, btw) all from Amazon. Came in like 3 days.
Tenchi OVA 3 Vol 1 and 2, and movie 10 had a ton of shipping problems and confusion. Had to cancel a re-order even... Because my Post Office magically got it my box after supposedly sending them back. So it took 'em like 3 weeks or so.

And the Dragon Box got here yesterday! :D

OOH! Tenchi OVA 3 - enjoy suffering through that!

Wait, what dragon box?
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
I was making fun of the fact that I ignored your dragonbox caps.

I love Tenchi, but OVA 3 was... a mistake... if you were to ask me.

Ugh...yeah...It wouldn't have been so bad if they hadn't decided to squeeze all the cool/interesting stuff into the last episode, and devote the rest of the series to providing GPX backstory...

Revenge of King Piccolo for the Wii. I beat it in about 3 to 4 hours. It's was actually pretty fun I just wish it was harder.

Just pre-ordered this, like, big yellow box. Not sure what's in it, but it looked kinda cool.
New to the forum? Just want to know when you'll hit your next posting rank? Ever wondered why some users have special titles, and what they mean? The answers to all these questions and more are waiting for you in the Kanzenshuu Member Hierarchy Guide!!

Dragon Ball Z Season 8 Digitally Remastered and Uncut DVD Box Set (Episodes 220-253).

I bought it at my local Best Buy for $29.99 one week after it's release date in the U.S.

(I usually rent/borrow anime from Netflix and my friends).

Before that was Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 (PS2) and Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 1 (PS2).

Those 3 are my only Dragon Ball purchases at all :(.

I bought the whole set for about $40 on Yahoo! Japan Auctions, and they should arrive sometime this month along with everything else I've ordered. I'll try to post pictures when they arrive and I put them in front of my tankoubon. :)

It was a brand new thing several months ago when I stumbled across it but hardly anyone used it. I just went to the normal Japanese section to look for stuff instead.

Not really. I just kinda go through it with my Japanese skill and sometimes the help of one of my Japanese friends. Maybe a dictionary once in awhile.
