I've seen a couple of these recently:

First, in Tenjou Tenge vol. 9, there's a scene where the main character, Souichirou, is training and he does a very Dragonball-esque power-up. The art style even changes significantly to match Toriyama's style:

Image

Heh, his shirt even changes to read "Kame." At first, I thought the first pose might be parodying the fusion technique, but the word "Raiders" on his shirt and the weird belt thing seem to imply a parody of something else (though I'm not sure what it is). Tenjou Tenge has other occasional DB references; there's this weird guy who looks like an alien who does a Solar Flare (I think?) at some point. Plus, Souichirou has a kind of reverse Super Saiyan technique: instead of going from black to blond, his hair goes from blond to black in his powered up form.

I know Yakitate! Japan has already been mentioned in either this thread or one of the previous parodies threads, but I recently read vol. 20 and found a different one besides the Super Kuroyanagi one. This one results from a Journey to the West parody that, inevitably, had to end with Dragonball being parodied, as well:

Image

Kawachi bulks up considerably and asks for everyone's help to create a "trust bomb", which, for copyright reasons, cannot be fully explained

Kind of funny.
Actually using scenes from the anime and parodying one of the movie ending themes is what helps it be so awesome.
They used a musical cue, too! Oh SNL, you wacky comedians you.

I really hope that's not real.

The card is on the Yu-Gi-Oh wiki and other card website shops for sale. So yes it's real, and looks like a odd cross between Freeza, and one of those robots from Powerangers.

What amazes me the most about this is Viz used "Saiyajin" instead of "Saiyan".

Totally forgot the all time best anime parody show, that satired DBZ on a few occasions.

I was playing the new Ace Attorney Investigations game on the DS, and in Case 2, I find sal manela.

As usual, he speaks Internet... but... he also said the most famous line from DBZ!!

You guessed it... "It's over 9000!!"

I laughed so hard at this to the point where my brother thought there's something strange with me.

Actions have reactions so don't be quick to judge, you may not know the hardships that people don't speak of.

In the Nintendo DS game, Scribblenauts, if you write "Over 9000!" or some variation, you get a monocle.

The non-canonical Halo Legends episode Odd One Out was animated by Toei, and has a shit ton of DragonBall homages. The entire thing really is a homage. 56k beware!

The Fighting animation in the special was amazing.

It actually reminded me of DBZ because it was really the only comical short in the whole collection. It combined action and Comedy, like DBZ does.

That Halo Anime looks like it has nothing to do with Halo at all.

But I'm still going to buy the DVD when it comes out.

Oh, it did get a little exciting, it's just that once he hit Part II...well....ugh....hopefully recent interviews and turn-of-events are saying it might get exciting again.

On the Reboot Episode My Two Bobs, Matrix reboots as a cross betweet Goku and Ash Ketchum. The User's character looks like Gohan.

There's also a few pages in the manga where Harima turns into a giant ape and starts going insane, complete with a full moon right behind him. He even climbs up a rock pillar in an area similar to where Gohan was left by Piccolo.

I know I'll be damned for necroposting, but I didn't like making a new thread when we have this one...-_-.

From Bakuman episode 5. This is a filler scene BTW.
