Thank you very much. No offence but... what's with the advertisement and signatures everywhere? In this day and age, if someone steals your scans, it's easy to track who actually made them. You could have just put it all in the final page... Kinda ruins the whole thing and you even put it on top of the artwork sometimes...

I didn't want to say it, but yeah - tacky (and the lettering eaves something to be desired).

Whoops... sorry.
But I guess you just ought to buy the doujinshi if you want the art and lettering to be clean ;-). I feel bad if I don't properly credit people for their work, and indeed, I've got content stolen before too, not that it's such a big deal, I know, and indeed it's trackable... Anyway, I'm sorry if it ruined your reading somehow, but it's one of my habits I guess :-S

Again, no offence, but it can be done... I mean, desirecampbell does it and I've got no bad things to point out...
It's just some constructive criticism for future scanlations I guess... Although you can still fix this one, it's not like it's done in stone.

Stop complaining. At least you got to read it.

 The last page made laugh when I read Vegeta's line "Hmm, what nonsense." That's exactly what I said out load before I've saw it! I'm not kidding.

Okay, okay, Toyable did a great job on this "Final chapter" short story for his book. Roshi did indeed have a dignified death, I liked Majin Puu, and the whole one sided goofy fight. But there is just one thing I do have a slight problem with and it's this line: "Hey Goku, it's been a real wonderful adventure. But now it's over..." I get that, but if there's anything I learned from watching Dragonball is that the real adventure never ends even after death. But hey, if I had to get technical about it, then yes it is over. It's been over for, what now? 15? 20 years?

M4rb big thanks for the translations! I understand that you probably didn't have the larger image of the pages to translate but the fact that you showed us anyway is very cool.

Awesome, thanks for posting them. I wish for something more original then something like Majin Puu. I mean really . For the Shadow Dragons appearing, it looks like Goku might not fight them after all maybe. Since Haze was first, then Rage will likely be second.

He scanlated it. He was every right to put his site logo on every page.

He does, but doing so ruins the experience, that's what I was aiming for, and that was constructive criticism. Have you got something against constructive criticism?

...Meh. The Heaven parts were a nice touch, but Kamesennin getting it seemed out of place. Plus I don't like how his death traumatized Pan, Goku Jr and Vegeta Jr. Bebidi with Majin Puu seemed weak, too. Thanks for the scanslation, though! :)

How does it ruin the experience? You still got to read it, didn't you?

I doubt Pan would be traumatized by Master Roshi's death. Considering her age I'm sure she watched plenty of friends and loved ones pass away. I'm pretty her next words after Roshi died was: "Sigh, Okay boys go fetch the shovel."

Because it's on top of the artwork sometimes, because it's on colour whereas everything else is in black and white, because it's there. It ruins it the same way a channel logo ruins a TV series. It's not like it's "ruined forever", but it is annoying nonetheless. Seriously, what can't you understand here?

Sometimes the logo overlaps a bit onto a panel, but that's about it. It's annoying. We get it. Like the channel logo, it's there but you don't have to look at it.

Actually, he does have to look at it. It's there. In bright yellow and orange. Bigger than any of the text.

We're not saying he's a huge dick for trying to push traffic to his site. We're just saying it's tacky and below the standards we're used to.

Anyway, does anyone have a source for the scans? Anything higher quality?

Whoa, I never anticipated this to turn into such a pointless discussion, and I wasn’t planning to get involved at all at first. I understand everyone’s reasoning and I’ve appreciated all the comments, also the constructive criticism. I realized we’re all a bit spoiled by the impressive and high quality scanlations/translations for Dragon Ball AF and Multiverse, and that’s become the gold standard nowadays, so some criticism certainly wasn’t out of place.

To the point, I don’t want to sound all sensitive, but subtilely calling me a dick and a traffic parasite is quite uncool. I feel there was no need for you to even bring that up, because, even if it wasn’t your intent, that was the only comment that felt kinda offensive and not so much constructive. I honestly had good intentions, my primary intention certainly wasn’t to push traffic, and secondly I frankly don’t have any other server space to put them. If you didn't intend it to sound that way, just forget it.

Anyway, once again I’m sorry if some of you considered the art to be less appealing by the inclusion of my site logo in the scans, won’t happen again as I don’t have the intention to start scanlating on a regular basis anyway. Although I was considering to scanlate DBZERO at first, but I guess I’ll leave that up to the pro’s cause it’s to much work anyways.

For the rest of you, thanks A LOT for the nice comments! It was my pleasure.

He said he wasn't calling you a dick. Also, Constructive criticism means "good work, here's how to improve". I thought it was good, the pages could have been bigger or of higher quality, but that's not up to you anyway. The only thing I didn't like is, as I pointed out, the logo, and desirecampbell pretty much explained why, since I gave up reasoning with Piccolo Daimaoh.

Now please, by all means, do continue to scanlate, but next time put that little bit extra effort on it. Putting your logo everywhere is a thing of the early 2000's :P if I knew how to scanlate, I would personally have used that huge empty box on the last page to put all the thank you's and advertisement. Just my 2 cents really. desirecampbell talks about the font used and whatnot but frankly I don't see the difference, he most definitely can since he has been doing scanlations for quite some time.
