Yeah I got to 39 pretty quick with the repeatable quests, I think I've seen your avatar on DBOCOM. My username there is allseeingeye.Gamma wrote:Cool, I also play the game. I stopped playing the game at level 37 though since it just got so boring having to repeat those TMQs over and over again. Now that they've added repeatable quests I might just start playing again.backthen wrote:I'm currently playing it, level 37.goku the krump dancer wrote:Where did you guys find out that the game is free?
No it isn't, all you need to do to get the English interface is change some words of one of the game's files. That, as far as I know, does not violate any of the terms or regulations of the game.LilKokuLink wrote:And 3rd party interference is illegal.backthen wrote:No shit, the English interface is a 3rd party mod.
Anyway, the whole patch is unneeded anyway. I don't even use it because the game is completely playable without it (and the hassle of updating it every time the game gets a new patch).

Yeah, I'm on Dbocom also. But I stopped playing soon after the other oldbies quit back in March/April. Not to mention, the Koreans turn TMQs into hell for Tanking characters (I am Dark Warrior) lol.backthen wrote: Yeah I got to 39 pretty quick with the repeatable quests, I think I've seen your avatar on DBOCOM. For those who are wondering the roles of the Androids in those pics:Vegeta Jr wrote:Android 8 and 19!?
●Android 8000 (horizontally flipped in the picture to show 0008 lol), it the final boss of TMQ1 who is trying to interfere with Raditz. He reappears in TMQ2 along with Android 8000 MkII as a mini-boss before the final boss which is Raditz. Apparently, they is serving the Time Breakers, hinting that Dr. Gero might have also allied with them.
●Android 19000 is an "ultra" type mob in the dungeon that is Dr. Gero's laboratory. There are several copies of this one, which lurk inside the lab along with Buyon copies.
●Android 9 (unseen in the pictures) is a taller, and much larger, Commander Red who has been rebuilt as a cyborg. He is almost as large as Dodoria and Zarbon in those TMQ5 screenshots. In the Red Pants Army dungeon in Karin Forests, he is the final boss. Meaning he is the leader of the new, Red Pants Army.
●Tao Pai Pai X is Cyborg Tao who now resides in the underground base of the former Red Ribbon Army, which is excavating/mining under the Karin forests. Dunno why though, also he is a "boss" type mob for that dungeon. Also there is a "ultra" in that dungeon who resembles General Blue.
Re: Dragon Ball Online News
Is that a red-eyed Bardock in future armor showing up to save the past (future?) ... ?
They have five minutes to convince me that isn't the most contrived bit of fan-wank since Brolli showed up in whatever the hell his last game was.
Also, the manga cut scenes are cute, but so, so cheap.

How did Bardock come back after his Chaozu-esque attack against Miira?
Re: Dragon Ball Online News
He broke free of the mind control and is helping you at this point.Chuquita wrote:Nice new screenshots! :3 Ginyu Force, Mind-controlled Bardock, the Goku and Ginyu stuff; looks fun! X3
All of the story in DBO is Toriyama original content and is considered canon to the manga. Not fan-wank.Cipher wrote:Is that a red-eyed Bardock in future armor showing up to save the past (future?) ... ?

I'd really like to see a 2-D animated special about either Time Patrol Trunks and his time patrol, or how normal timeline Trunks and Goten founded their martial arts school.

Man, I so want that 2D art released, or is it possible to rip it from the game?

Is it me or does the Ginyu force look massive? There character models are so much bigger than Vegeta's or Goku's.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

Jheese and Batta seem normal to me. Reacoom looks massive if that one screenshot. I'm guessing he is being controlled like how Dodoria was.SparkyPantsMcGee wrote:Is it me or does the Ginyu force look massive? There character models are so much bigger than Vegeta's or Goku's.
And I'd also like to see an animated special or manga about DBO. Preferably manga.

It's because Towa (The female leader of the Time-Breakers) Put a spell on them increasing their power and size.SparkyPantsMcGee wrote:Is it me or does the Ginyu force look massive? There character models are so much bigger than Vegeta's or Goku's.

Yeah it's possible to rip the art from the game's files. Some people have already done it.JulieYBM wrote:Man, I so want that 2D art released, or is it possible to rip it from the game?

As for new stuff, just be sure to watch Pizzapie's video on this TMQ when it comes out.

Wait, Towa is the name of the woman with the white hair, pale blue skin, and the red dress who's been shown with Miira?backthen wrote:It's because Towa (The female leader of the Time-Breakers) Put a spell on them increasing their power and size.SparkyPantsMcGee wrote:Is it me or does the Ginyu force look massive? If so, this is the first time I've heard her referred to by a name. Is there a pun to her name?

Re: Dragon Ball Online News
Yeah that's her name. Not sure about a pun though. But it probably something that has to do with time (like how Miira is a pun on Mirai).Chuquita wrote:Wait, Towa is the name of the woman with the white hair, pale blue skin, and the red dress who's been shown with Miira?backthen wrote:It's because Towa (The female leader of the Time-Breakers) Put a spell on them increasing their power and size.SparkyPantsMcGee wrote:Is it me or does the Ginyu force look massive? Hmm... all that's coming to mind is 時 (Toki) which means time.Chuquita wrote:Wait, Towa is the name of the woman with the white hair, pale blue skin, and the red dress who's been shown with Miira?backthen wrote:It's because Towa (The female leader of the Time-Breakers) Put a spell on them increasing their power and size.SparkyPantsMcGee wrote:Is it me or does the Ginyu force look massive? Re: Dragon Ball Online News
Towa (永久) is a Japanese word that means "eternity" or "forever." I'd guess that her name is probably based on that.

Nooo! Poor Nail :<Piccolo Daimaoh wrote:Oh yeah, you've probably hit the nail on the head.
Anyways, I've been quite curious about the story, I've been following Pizzapie's videos but it doesn't seem to have much to it. It confuses me more than enlightens. Also, is there anywhere we can find full body clean artworks? I'm quite interested in the still living characters, so far who've we seen? Mutenroshi, Uranai Baba, Piccolo, Muuri and Karin. Anyone else?
