It's Nico Robin from Cross Epoch. I found the avatar in the Fanworks section...although personally, I think I like real-Robin better.

Does my avatar work?
You know, because I can't see it, and all that.

It says "remote linking forbidden", so upload it on tinypic.com and use that link instead.

Well paint me green and call me a Namek.
I can't read the URLs that tinypic gives in those flash videos (I'm impressed I was able to get past the capcha...).
I have no idea if imageshack worked.
Fish, I give up.

I uploaded your picture on Tinypic for you, so just use the following link: http://i50.tinypic.com/2ztdr8o.jpg
It should work. Enjoy!

The next question is, is it a picture of the MegaZord or of Daizyujin?

Well, the filename on my computer is "megazordsmall.jpg", if that counts as an answer. =D

@Caejones:

I saved the picture on my computer. Then I went to TinyPic and chose the file, pressed "upload", and entered the words on the "Captcha". Of the links they offered, (4 total, I believe), I used the "Direct link for layouts" one (it's the last one of the four links).
I guess that if you link with the others for your avatar, you'll get the "Remote Linking Forbidden" Message.

But how did you save it to your computer if it didn't show up here? :?

Whatever website you tried to grab the image from saw that the image was being served to a website that wasn't theirs, so they blocked it from showing up (and showed that image that says such happened). This is a common practice called 'hotlink blocking'. I use the same thing on my website - it's automatic and is in place to stop others from killing my bandwidth.

What Godo did was follow the image address back to the website it was originally posted on and saved the image as it loaded there (if you can see the image then you can save it permanently to your computer). Godo was able to see the image because when he went to the website you got it from the website didn't block it like it did here (because it saw it was being served to the proper place).

Then Godo made a copy of that image file to his computer and uploaded it again to TinyPic, a website that doesn't block hotlinking. Now we can all see the image.

PS- the reason you could see the image even though it was being blocked is because it was oce downloaded into your browser cache. To speed up surfing, your browser doesn't re-download everything everytime you go to a page. If you go to one page (where you first found the image) and then go to another that uses the same image (with the same address) then your browser doesn't even try to re-download it, it just uses what it has already. The rest of us haven't seen it already so our browsers try to grab it and are blocked.

Hm, weird... my server has both allowed me to remote-link images in the past and forbidden me from accessing datafiles with just urls (they have to be linked to from a local webpage).
Blah, my host just confuses me. XD

That's probably all done by a local .htaccess file using modrewrite, actually. You can tell it to do all sorts of stuff. I've got mine blocking hotlinking except to the forums here, and except for a specific dir.

I made mine. 8)

Just recently finished spriting Hotaru for the contest in the Fanworks section and decided I wanted to make a short animation of it. Having her just dancing around doing moves on her own would have been dull, so I decided to make it a short battle scene. Considered using Yamcha but I figured fighting Bardock would be cooler. :P

Which program to you use to make these GIFs? Do you know any simple ones that are small in file size?

These days, due to the fact that my copy of Animation Shop 3 is fucked up and wont work, I use Virtual Dub. Not the best option for GIF creation, really, but it works. You just have to make the individual frames in another program, name them sequentially, and then open the first one (with the load linked files box checked) and it'll put your animation together for you. Adjust frame rate as needed and export to GIF.

Eh, I'll just stick to Microsoft GIF Animator.

I saw that VLC snap of Gohan that The Time Traveller posted in the "Cutest DragonBall Moments" thread and thought it would make a great avatar.

That is, if it's okay with The Time Traveller that I borrowed his image....
