Why? If Goten is only emitting the energy necessary to fly, if Gohan doesn`t even know in which direction he should concentrate to look, if Goten is pretty far away and if Goku has trouble finding Bulma`s ki in the Buu saga while knowing where to look and while being in the same planet as her, this in not that strange.

Goten can be emitting ki just slightly stronger than the average human so that he can fly (especially if he doesn`t want to be found by Gohan) so its really not that strange at all.

Agreed. He's thousands of km away. As in, over 2,000km. Seeing how the Earth is 4,000km long at the equator, there's no reason to be able to pick him up so easily since he's anywhere from half a planet away to literally being on the other side of the planet.

I'm not going to pick on the story... again. It is what it is, and that is fine. What I take issue with is the quality of story telling. Panels 2 and 3 seem pretty superfluous to me. We already know Goten can fly well, since this takes place in U18, as well. The first statement in Gohan's thoughts is the only thing that give us any information that we might not have known already. The 3rd panel only serves to tell us how far Goten is from Gohan; that could easily have been combined with the last panel and made room for further advancement of the plot.

I hope they made some major changes to the story this time. Remember the last Broly special chapter? The only thing that was different was how they defeated him with the spirit bomb. I hope everyone dies in this chapter, just because.

Nah I hear ya, despite the art being pretty good the last special story was crap, Broly or no Broly. The part with Oolong was neat but not enough to make it any less then a redo of Movie #9. This almost looks like Movie #10 but with more characters . . . Movie 11? All well at least Albertocubatas is doing it again. So the art will be pretty to look at.

My problem with these special chapters has nothing to do with their quality. My problem is that they're jarring because they interrupt the flow of the actual story. This is delightfully Namek Saga. When you're looking to get on with a story that's actually interesting, you end up getting stuck watching "The Adventures of Bulma."

Well, let`s face it, there is no easy way to explain how Brolly survives and gets to Earth while making perfect sense.
