There was a con here in Ottawa a week ago, which I didn't know about until I saw a Honey-sempai on the street.

Indeed I was. And like desire said, Akicon was in Bellevue, WA. Though there were quite a few Canadians I knew there. Also forgot to put it in here earlier, but I also took an in-joke pic that some of the guys on here will get:
