More late Dragonball!
Love the art style from it and the pans are amazing!

My favourite art style (and animation) outside Toriyama who worked on Dragon Ball: Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru, Masaki Satō, Minoru Maeda, Takeo Ide, Hisashi Eguchi, Katsumi Aoshima, Tomekichi Takeuchi, Masahiro Shimanuki, Kazuya Hisada

Oh yea. I loved that episode. The art styles of the 23rd Tenkaichi episodes was one of the reasons why it was my favorite arc.Metalwario64 wrote:That's from his fight against Tenshinhan at the 23rd Tournament.Drabaz wrote:Love that last shot of Goku. Re: Camera Pans!
I present to you another batch of camera pans (I apologize for the small thumbnails, but I didn't want to waste the time to make custom sized ones, upload them, then format their links like last time, so I used the default Photobucket ones. As usual, click them to view the full-sized versions):

^Mike might wanna use this in place of the low quality version in his Saiyan transformation guide.

^I think this one may have been done already, nevertheless, this one is for sure done correctly if the other one isn't.
\
^Never can get over how awkward this perspective shot is...

^This one was a tad tricky, as Vegeta's cel was scrolling at a faster rate than Nappa and the background, but some cutting and pasting and selective erasing made it come through in the end.

BONUS!

^The same shot, but with regular colored Vegeta! This one took quite some time to make, and I still don't like the hair, but I think I did a good job otherwise.
[EDIT] I redid the hair. I manually cut it out and colored it this time, and it looks nearly flawless I think. Before I finished it, I noticed it looked a bit smooth though, so I added some grain to it. The grain was a tad too fine though, and ended up looking a little off, but since I saved it as a high quality JPEG, it slightly blocked it out a bit like the US Dragon Box grain, so it looks nearly perfect!
[EDIT 2] I made the trim the same shade as the rest of the white parts, and touched up a few areas where you could still slightly see parts that were originally orange. Looks as good as I can likely get it now, so I'd say I'm done with it, and I'm quite satisfied as well.
[EDIT 3] Well, this ought to be the final edit. I went back and cleaned some edges on nearly a pixel-by-pixel basis, redid some colors, and fixed some of the areas where you could still see some orange showing through. The white on the boots and gloves had too much contrast from when I gray-scaled them so I reduced their contrast. The tail also looked weird, so I fixed that up as well.
All in all, I really think I'm done now. When you start editing it pixel-by-pixel nearly, there's not much left to do, so I'll call it quits here, as I can't see anything wrong with it that is within my capabilities to correct.

Re: Camera Pans!
Since this is a rather important update, I figure I may as well make a new post so people see it.
Got 3 more (click to view the full size versions):

^Didn't jjgp say that this one couldn't be done? Wasn't a problem at all, and any aura brightness discrepancies between frames were resolved with the "replace color" option in Photoshop.

^Believe it or not, this one actually gave me more trouble. I really wanted the entire frame so that I could laugh at the hair, but the last frame had a different animation frame than the first and the rest I took, so the aura didn't match up and I had to splice the very tip onto the below frame using selective erasing, and thankfully it turned out nearly perfect!

^First shot of the episode with the previous camera pan.

Since I'm sure I've completed this edit, I may as well make a new post so people don't miss it:

Also, I have another pan of Super Saiyan Goku:

Re: Camera Pans!
I did this one a while back and completely forgot to post it, although looking back that may have been because it was already done. Either way, here it is:

And this one I did earlier today after finally getting Media Player Classic:

Re: Camera Pans!
Sorry if this counts as necro-posting, but I just came across this thread, and would like to add to the collection of image pans. If these have already been done, let me know. (BTW, I only have the Funimation "Remastered" sets so that's were these came from. I turned down the saturation quite a lot, so at least it's not as blinding, lol.

This one took the longest to edit together because his SSJ aura was animated.

I plan on working on some more tommorow. I'm not sure yet.

Got GT the complete series today and decided to make some. TripleRach said it would be okay to open this up again. (Click for full size.)

This bottom one was actually moving slightly to the right as it panned down, which led to empty space at the top right and bottom left, so I just chopped a bit off the sides to make it rectangular.
EDIT: And here's a huuuuuuge one!

Freeza's 2nd form in my remastered palette. Why won't Kai look like this? Look at the Tarble, Raichi, and Bardock OVAs, they did a good job in this decent animation, especially Ultimate Tenkaichi.
