You're mad. Clearly the only canon DB media are the trading card games, those Super Saiyan Desk commercials, and that diorama that came with the Dragon Box singles.

I do. It is pretty entertaining. Good for a free to play MMO.

On topic, what I consider to be canon is the manga, the series (even some filler), GT somewhat, and 4 of the DBZ movies (which are 5, 8, 9, and 12).

As for Dragon Ball Online...I really don't know if it's canon or not.

Edit:

I also consider the Episode of Bardock canon.

There's separate canons such as the movie canon, etc. What I consider to be part of the main canon is the manga, movie 9, and GT. When I get to play DBO that may change.

What was so special about movie 9? Isn't it ridiculous for some random bounty hunter to show up who's stronger than Frieza?

I have no words. The ignorance shown is off the charts.

I mean, you're pretty open about looking at cartoon porn. Why would you do that? It's fiction. The proportions of these women are not possible to reach in reality.

He wasn't really "some random bounty hunter". He was bad enough for all four Kaio to seal him away. That implies he was a pretty big deal in his time.

If you have no words, then you have no reason to post.

The "ignorance" seems like a valid question to me.

I remember someone pointing out that most of Toriyama's manga could take place in the same universe, with Sandlands in the far far future, or something.

Canon to me is:

The Manga
The Kanzenban Ending
The Bardock TV Special
The Daizenshuu
The New Kanzenban Guidebooks

And, while I wholeheartedly acknowledge that the Manga version of the Trunks Special is undeniably the true canon version, I prefer the TV version.
I also like the afterlife tournament, but that's not canon either, I just think that's fun.

(For those of you who don't know, the difference between the two is small but important, in the Manga, Trunks is capable of going Super Saiyan from the beginning. in the TV special, he is unable to until Gohan's death triggers the transformation)

As for what I see as canon..

The manga.
Some anime fillers (Like Gregory, Goku falling of snake way, afterlife tournament, Gohan training etc.)
The Kanzenban ending.
The "Yo! Son Goku and his friends return!" OVA thing. :D
Movie 9.
Movie 13 (Also the fact that the sword from the movie is the same Future Trunks has).
The Episode of Bardock.
Dragon Ball Online.

I think thats it. :D

The Daizenshuu, the Super Exciting Guide, the manga, the Bardock special, the GT Perfect Files, and GT.

Bojack's not a bounty hunter either, just some guy who...rampages around, I guess.

For me? Just the manga. The manga with the ORIGINAL ending, not the redone one from the Kanzenban. Possibly elements of the Bardock special, but I find even that rather iffy, aside from the moments that are clearly referenced by Toriyama. I find the JSAT even iffier. Info from the manga-related guidebooks I accept. Aaaaand that's really about it.

I enjoy plenty of movies and love lots of the filler, and even GT. There are some filler interpretations I prefer over the manga (Gohan's training, Great Saiyaman episodes), but just because I really enjoy them doesn't mean I have to actually accept them as what really happened in the DB universe, and what I believe happened in the DB universe is contained in the weekly manga that Toriyama wrote for ten years.

Dragonball Manga.
Bardock Special (not the trunks one as it contradicts manga).
Kanzenban ending (perhaps minus the Vegeta bit?).
Toriyama's line after being asked in Lunch ever found Tenshinhan "I suppose she did".
JSAT Special (Tenshinhan Included [sitting next to Lunch] ala the manga adaption, but with the human heroics ala the anime).
Neko Majin/Z (especially Uub eventually moving to Mt Pazou, perfect compromise).
Dragonball Online.

The manga (with the kanzenban ending, because it's essentially the "director's cut" and it's just better, damn it!), the Bardock special, and as much as I love and prefer the TV special's version of events, the Trunks chapter. Basically, if it wasn't in the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump and/or drawn by Toriyama, it didn't happen. For me, Dragon Ball ends when Goku flies off with Uub.

Oh, OK, fine, Neko Majin Z 5, too. :P
