The review will be posted in the "

So interesting thing as I watched episode 98 this morning:
That's "CURE ~ I'll Be Here ~" listed, the one sung by Aya Hirano (as "Dende") that's been hanging out since the first
Kai Song Collection (November 2009). Except... it didn't actually play in the episode. I mean, I wasn't paying the
closest attention, but it was entirely Kikuchi BGM the entire way through near as I could tell (lots of DBZ movie 8 stuff). I'd like to think I'd notice this random extra song playing at some point. The only "extra" music was the "Dragon Soul" full version recap thingie before the closing credits.
I wonder if they had PLANNED on using it as an insert song back in March, but once the score got stripped out, it was replaced (but no-one bothered to change the closing credits)...? 'Cuz remember, it was episodes 96 and 97 that were the first ones to play on-air with the replacement score, which seemed like a panic rush to get them done. I would assume 98 was in the mix there, but then all the stuff went down that resulted in it never airing.
Food for thought, I guess.
EDIT: Scratch that. It plays VERY FAINTLY on the radio when Bulma and Trunks are having tea or whatever, right before the announcer breaks in to announce what #17 and #18 are up to.
(That recap at the end is VERY weird, indeed. The Ano-Yo-Ichi Budokai comes out of left field. That's what actually starts the segment, and it's just a few quick scenes played out chronologically [Goku starts, fights Paikuhan, some special attacks, whoops it's over!], and then it goes back to start from the "beginning" of Z, except it also starts with some of the recap stuff from the first DB series, like Goku and Chi-Chi getting married. Very spastic recap, especially since then it goes and does stuff AGAIN that they missed once Cell is killed, ending with Goku's Kamehameha vs Vegeta at the end of the Saiyan arc. Basically a moderately terrible AMV, complete with random and inconsistent bits of timing to the beat when they remembered to do so.)
