Dragonball Vs. Non Dragonball
Re: Dragonball Vs. Non Dragonball
It's 300 million degrees C. How long does it need to last (again, the heart of the Sun is 'only' 16 mil).
Re: Dragonball Vs. Non Dragonball
You can't realy on that knowledge withtout knowing what the limit of Buu's regeneration is. It is a creature of magic, build to be near indestructible and destroyed by something that could qualify as magic, what with the seeking out evil bit and all that.Which also means that nobody defends against it. Whatever ki powers they have, nearly all the characters are flesh and bone. The main one that isn't, Buu, relies completely on his regeneration and the power of an H-bomb would rip his very atoms apart.

I'm not quite sure about that. I mean, it's true to an extent, but that means that if two people had identical strength and one shot their strongest attack at the other, they wouldn't be hurt by it. It doesn't seem to work that way. I think their strongest attacks faaar outweigh their physical durability under normal circumstances, particularly in later parts of the series where those attacks have grown to absurd levels.mysticboy wrote:DBZ characters can take what they dish out.
Yeah, definitely. I mean, you could argue that ki could be used to shield them from it--and it probably could, because your ki can do anything if you put your mind to it--but if anyone had that sort of trick up their sleeve, using their ki to render themselves invisible would be a snap. Now that would be a neat technique, but obviously one that never appears in the show. I also have to wonder if they'd be able to breathe inside a nuclear explosion.mysticboy wrote:The radiation may be a problem though...

I'm saying they can survive attacks close to their power level. If two people with the exact same power level one shot each other, both will get hurt, they just won't die. I didn't mean "take" in the sense of tanking something, but in the sense of surviving a blow.Bussani wrote:I'm not quite sure about that. I wonder if Cell and Freeza can take radiation.
A ki shield is probably the best option. I doubt going invisible (hell, even intangible) would help much since radiation effects you at a molecular level.Bussani wrote:Yeah, definitely. Wasn't it said somewhere that Piccolo-Daimao had the power of a nuclear bomb? Also keeping in mind that they could dodge the bomb.Rocketman wrote:A nuclear bomb would kill anybody from Dragonball/Z/GT.
Re: Dragonball Vs. Non Dragonball
Even if something like that was said(I don't recall, nor care), it says nothing about his abilities to withstand one.ringworm128 wrote:Wasn't it said somewhere that Piccolo-Daimao had the power of a nuclear bomb? Also keeping in mind that they could dodge the bomb.

I am going have to go with Godzilla but if it was Vegeta or Gohan that would be a interesting fight.mysticboy wrote:Great Ape Kid Goku vs Godzilla.

Great Ape Gohan then?ringworm128 wrote:I am going have to go with Godzilla but if it was Vegeta or Gohan that would be a interesting fight.mysticboy wrote:Great Ape Kid Goku vs Godzilla.
Re: Dragonball Vs. Non Dragonball
Fair enough, but I'm not sure I agree with the not dying part. Cell and Goku were at about the same level at the time of the warp Kamehameha, but it still would have killed him if he wasn't...well...Cell. It's probably possible to survive one of those attacks if you prepare yourself for it properly, but deflecting them with a large attack of your own seems to be easier.mysticboy wrote:I'm saying they can survive attacks close to their power level. What I meant was that visible light is radiation--the same form of radiation as x-rays and gamma rays, in fact. If you can shield yourself from x-rays and gamma rays, you should be able to shield yourself from the visible spectrum as well.I doubt going invisible (hell, even intangible) would help much since radiation effects you at a molecular level.

"Dodging" the bomb (which I assume means flying or teleporting out of range) says nothing about surviving it.ringworm128 wrote:Wasn't it said somewhere that Piccolo-Daimao had the power of a nuclear bomb? Also keeping in mind that they could dodge the bomb.
I figure everybody's so puffed up on their own power in DBZ they'd try to tank the blast like they catch bullets anyway.
Re: Dragonball Vs. Non Dragonball
Young Piccolo Daimao is said to have the power of a small nuclear bomb;
@Oozaru Kid Goku vs Godzilla, I think GAWWDZIRRA has this unless it is 21st Budokai Oozaru Goku.He has become even more powerful now that he has his youth restored. Easily capable of blowing away a city, his power rivals that of a small nuclear bomb.

Re: Dragonball Vs. Non Dragonball
Even if he could release a shockwave as powerful as one from a nuclear blast, that doesn't account for the heat and various other forms of radiation you get from an actual nuclear bomb. Dragon Ball characters could probably survive the force of the blast itself if they braced themselves for it (and probably have survived forces of that magnitude at one point or another); it's everything else I have to wonder about.FNF wrote:Young Piccolo Daimao is said to have the power of a small nuclear bomb

Considering his size and abilities, such as his healing factor, no Oozaru could beat big-G.mysticboy wrote:Great Ape Gohan then?ringworm128 wrote:I am going have to go with Godzilla but if it was Vegeta or Gohan that would be a interesting fight.mysticboy wrote:Great Ape Kid Goku vs Godzilla.

Re: Dragonball Vs. Non Dragonball
This should be fun since I'm bigger fan of Godzilla than I am of Dragon Ball. It depends on which Godzilla that we are using? I think Oozaru Goku when he first transform as a Oozaru will likely lose to any Godzilla unless it's the 1954 Godzilla or the 1998 American Godzilla. 21st Tenkaichi Budokai Oozaru Goku is bit stronger, he might beat few of the Millennium era Godzilla's but I think the Showa Godzilla and Heisei Godzilla would win.mysticboy wrote:Great Ape Kid Goku vs Godzilla.
If it's Oozaru Gohan then I think it could either way since I remember Oozaru Gohan was able blast apart mountains and the Heisei Godzilla survived Birth Island's destruction, shattered the Earth's tectonic plates while battling Battra under water from what I can remember and went through molten earth and survive without a scratch. Oozaru Vegeta should win due to speed and having more fire power (Since he could destroy planets) but I think Golden Oozaru is over kill.

Yeah, but Godzilla's got way better durability, and I don't how long Vegeta's going to last against him.Hellspawn28 wrote:Oozaru Vegeta should win due to speed and having more fire power (Since he could destroy planets)

Re: Dragonball Vs. Non Dragonball
Ok, fair explanation.
Re: Dragonball Vs. Non Dragonball
While it's been a while since I saw a Godzilla movie, I remember humans harming him to some extent. One Oozaru was supposed to wipe out an entire planet.
