I think Lesnar is a really shitty MMA fighter, but Mr. Satan's a shitty fighter, so who knows.

He pulled 3 or 4 buses, ripped 3 phone books in half, punched a hole through the bus, at the Cell game he pulled a large rock out of the ground with one hand and smashed it over his face or forehead, i think he would be the strongest and toughest human on earth. Yeah, anyone put up against the Z senshi would look very weak.
Re: Dragonball Vs. Non Dragonball
You're questioning it for not abiding by real world physics? I can't count the number of times I've had to end a post with, "But since when does Dragon Ball care about the laws of physics?" in this thread alone.Haji wrote:like how the Hulk punched a meteor 3 times bigger than earth and it blew up? how? seems like his fist would just sink in if you ask me
Mr. Satan did? Man, that guy has a lot of filler I don't even remember. How did he hurt his hand on tiles if he can lift a large rock and smash it over his face?He pulled 3 or 4 buses, ripped 3 phone books in half, punched a hole through the bus, at the Cell game he pulled a large rock out of the ground with one hand and smashed it over his face or forehead

Haji wrote:What i meant by it not being logical is because of the stuff i have read from other forums about Goku vs whatever Marvel or DC comic character, like how the Hulk punched a meteor 3 times bigger than earth and it blew up? how? seems like his fist would just sink in if you ask me, oh and the one i heard about the Hulk holding a planet together to keep it from blowing up! how is that possible? It does not matter how strong you are, a planet falling apart, it's like, even if he holds one place, another area is going to explode. And Super Man, you would think if his sneeze can wipe out a whole solar system or galaxy, how can he even breath or talk on earth?
I've never heard of the hulk having feats like that and I'm not sure how he could hold a planet together so I won't comment on that. But the reason Superman can sneeze a solar system away but not destroy the earth when he breaths and talks is the same reason he doesn't destroy everything when he moves and is able to focus on just part of the visual spectrum and sounds around him. He has something called Super focus or super concentration or super control or some super thing like that.Haji wrote:I know that, they can do whatever the writers want. That's another thing i don't like, it's like the writers set up they're comic world with it's laws of physics sometimes like ours and then just break them at any point. Most Japanese mangaka stick with they're in world logic and i like that.
Basically he is able to precisely control his muscles and his senses. Even though Superman (depending on which version we're talking about) can move a dozen planets at a time, fly so fast he could destroy all reality, sees and hears everything in the electromagnetic and sound spectrum at once, and has perfect memory, he is able to limit himself down to a normal persons level without doing any kind of transforming or powering up/down. Unlike a power downed Goku, when Superman is acting like a normal person his powers are still at max, he just controls controls everything individually but all at once. This is also how he is able to do some other random off the wall super stuff like super basket weaving, super voice mimicry, and super ventriloquism.
And yeah a lot of it makes no logical sense but honestly any fictional work with super powers doesn't really make sense. Even if you accept that universes laws of physics and whatever theres usually holes in it. DBZ itself is filled with logic holes, like how Goku goes to the moon in Dragonball but is stated as not being able to survive in space in DBZ, or at the beginning of Z with a power level of ~400 carries a giant tree like its nothing but later when hes supposed to be far past 3,000,000 has trouble lifting 40 tons.

To be fair, it could have had clumps of dirt mixed in with it... And it really wasn't that large.Bussani wrote:You're questioning it for not abiding by real world physics? And for the record, the only reason he couldn't control his sneeze in that situation was because of Mr. Mxyzptlk's magic sneezing powder.dario03 wrote:But the reason Superman can sneeze a solar system away but not destroy the earth when he breaths and talks is the same reason he doesn't destroy everything when he moves and is able to focus on just part of the visual spectrum and sounds around him. Re: Dragonball Vs. Non Dragonball
In DragonBall when Goku went to the moon, that was a gag moment, like most western comics seem to be. Like Dr.Slump it's a gag manga, not canon or whatever feats. It can't be taken seriously but people still pull it up in vs. threads. Like i said about most western comics, the characters powers and feats can change at any time due to different writers at the time or just changing or breaking they're own rules at the moment. In most manga i have read the characters have to earn they're own strength, skill, abilities and overall experience.

Due to starting to watch in the last few weeks, one I was thinking of is Babidi vs. Negi Springfield. I think it might be possible for Negi to get the upper hand, though maybe not early but later as he is when the series shifts from harem comedy to action.
Another is Draculaman vs Evangeline A.K. McDowell. Her spells might be able to beat him, and she would definately do so if she has Chachamaru by her side.

Yeah, Dragonball is a gag of Sun Wukong. Like the bit where it mixes with Dr Slump's universe - we don't have to take it seriously.Haji wrote:In DragonBall when Goku went to the moon, that was a gag moment, like most western comics seem to be. Krillin would piss his pants in fear if he saw him but he'll try despite that Shao Kahn would win like *snap*. You don't mess with him.

I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

Re: Dragonball Vs. Non Dragonball
Eh... I don't know for sure about Shao Kahn (I know he's one of the more powerful MK characters, from what I remember), but I don't think anyone in Mortal Kombat ever gets anywhere close to a level where they could fight anyone from DBZ. Especially not anyone whose power level gets into the thousands or beyond.
I mean, look at what kind of stuff can kill them. The entire cast of Mortal Kombat is embarrassingly fragile compared to... pretty much anyone in DB/Z. Even little Goku at the very start of the series, if you take the "bullet/axe just leaves a little bump" scenes seriously...
So it would probably resemble that fight with one of those huge guys at the tournaments who look pretty impressive but... after one hit from Krillin it's clear that they aren't.

Re: Dragonball Vs. Non Dragonball
Mortal Kombat is a difficult comparison because it's a fighting game. Everybody has to be able to beat everybody else for game balance.

Re: Dragonball Vs. Non Dragonball
I don't really know any feats of power from Kuririn, but he has very good techniques like the Kienzan.
I know this is not really a vs. question but, how far would Meruem make it through DragonBall?

Re: Dragonball Vs. Non Dragonball
Meruem is quite something. He could survive a nuclear bomb before he powered-up.
