Sorry if this is old news, but this video seems to indicate that Paikuhan was meant to be in Tenkaichi. At 2:48 listen and look at the lower left of the screen.

1 - Neat, it actually shows "Pikon" and says his name.

2 - Holy crap that's a bad Goku voice.

I didn't watch the video. It said I was supposed to be registered? Oh well.

I think there was an interview where they said "Pik kon", but was just confusing him with "Piccolo". Is this that video..?
Or, was the interview I'm thinking of for Budokai 3, not Tenkaichi? Ah, I dunno. Maybe I shouldn't have replied to this topic.

Damn filter.

It actualy shows a picture of Piccolo then Pikon then another charcter then another... they started saying their names with Pikon.

You never see a character model for Pikon though.

Yeah seeing as he mentions Piccolo earlier, and then later says Pikon, i don't think he's getting them confused. Especially since it showed Pikon on screen.

Erm, this is the "vignette" that FUNi has on the Dragon Ball Z website. I can't see Pikon's mugshot, where about? Between what characters?

What are you talking about? Just watch the video at the point of the video i said, at the place i said.

Edit - OK, since some people don't know how to simply register and download a video, i've uploaded about 6 seconds of the video where he mentions Pikon.

"Paikhan"? All they need is a U and they'll have switched back to the Japanese name. :P

No he wasn't meant to be in the game. The person who wrote the script for that horrible advertisement got their info wrong.

I know for a fact that Kiwi was supposed to be in Budokai Tenkaichi. Using the Action Replay code to unlock everything, you also get an unusable character Z Item called "Cui".
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!

I wouldn't say the mention of his name and a bit of anime footage would mean that he was supposed to be in it.

There's mention of Paikuhan, and an anime screenshot, but nothing in the game's roster showed Paikuhan.

Yanno..it's actually weird hearing Sean as Goku saying Tenkaichi right. Even mentioning Ki when the dub never mentioned the term once.

I have the Japanese version of the game, so I'm actually suprised to see they spelled Chaozu's name as the Japanese name. Especially Tao Pai Pai when the dub's refered to him as Tao, Mercenary Tao, and..ugh..General Tao.

Rather nifty.

Yanno isn't a word. It's "y'know," a contraction of "you know."

I hate correcting like that, but you use it often and nobody's ever pointed it out.
Nobody rag on him if he switches, either! Contractions aren't bad grammar, they're bad form.

It's a little quirk of mine, go fig. :P Don't think I'll be changin' that anytime soon. At least you get what I'm saying and a majority of what I do type is grammatically correct. XP

I kind of thought there was someone else here named "Yanno", and you were answering him directly.. I was like, "Who the hell is Yanno?"

Anyway... I don't think it's "proof" Pikon was suppossed to be in the game, but it's a rumor that's got weight to it.
