That's weird... where I'm from they practically never lower the price of the high selling games, competition be damned. For example, Skyrim is still $80 (PC) - $90 (PS360) at the cheapest (new, that is).

I was shocked too. And that's the reason I rushed down and now have a copy of Skyrim; and those other games. I'm especially pleased with Skyrim though heheh ^^...

I'm hoping the price of games will drop like this in the coming months, a couple titles I'm interested in getting.
It's not that much weird. I see it in Czech republic as common practice, when the games are older, the price goes down.
And the best selling games are more cheaper. As DonieZ noted, I thought it's common practice in Europe as he lives in UK.

I'm not the biggest fan of DBZ Ultimate Tenkaichi, but I do want to add it to my collection (Xbox 360 Ver.) though, not really seeing myself wasting 35 to 40 quid on a game like this, tbh, I never really spent more than £18 (Dragon Ball Raging Blast 1 LE Xbox 360) on a game.

The international music's as a replacement is pretty good, animated cutscenes too, in-game graphics look fantastic, but not much for the gameplay, but it's passable once I get into it.

At this point I frankly don't care about the DBZ Ultimate Tenkaichi Limited Edition at all, it differs from the regular, is a big-ass box and an 18cm Son Gohan Great Saiyaman figure, great but not worth the price it has.

Zoverstocks' hasn't even showed up to sell their used - very good copies of the game. Damn.

I got my copy on PS3 yesterday from Zavvi for £24.95, not seen it cheaper anywhere else yet. I'm still geting used to how the fights work this time around (completely forgot down on the dpad charges Ki, though now Ki plays a different role :s) but I do quite enjoy the music.

£24.95 isn't a bad price, but I expect a drop to £14.95 or £12.95, at this point I'll purchase the game. =)

There just isn't a lot that really makes me want to buy the game, other than having it for my DBC.

I won't buy this game unless it's under $20.

I did the same as you, couldn't bring myself to spend £40 on a game I could hate or love (going by the fans) but £25 is fine for me just for a small play, completion of my collection and... don't hate me but... Character creator.

Oh and giant-ass Meta Coola, I love that they added him!

I bought it the first day it came out.

I think it's good but when it comes to gameplay I'd only play it in small doses (no more than 3 hours a day) because it's really repetitive.

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

I bought the game for $60 new. I'm loving it so far. The opening animation with "Head Cha-La" was great, I thought, and I think the gameplay is fun.

I've still yet to play through Hero Mode or the Story Mode, but I expect great things from them. I've yet to be disappointed by a Dragon Ball game, really.

Been a while since anyone's really actively talked about it (not that I'm surprised)... but hey, here's some stuff.

Mostly looking for any wrong words, clarity issues, etc. Covered pretty much everything I wanted to in as much depth as I wanted to do it in.

Right after the first picture in the "Gameplay" section, you have "Do you the clash?" Probably should be "Do you win the clash?"
In the paragraph before the second picture, you have "they are somehow most the most frustrating"

I like how you end with 'Someone please stop this', and just below it has links to buy the game xD

I like the review, seems to sum up just about what most people think. I think Spike's biggest mistake was rebooting Tenkaichi onto the next gen. since it would constantly be being referred back to T3, with a gazzillion characters by their fans, and uninteresting to those tired of the Tenkaichi-style. It's not like the first RB had or was going to have the initial interest the first Tenkaichi was going to. Back then it was completely new, never done before, something to watch out for perhaps. RB on the other hand wasn't as revolutionary as to what Tenkaichi would have been expected to turn out into. And when they finally realised that it wasn't going anywhere they did their best to be as innovating as they had been the previous generation... Unfortunately it seems to be clear that they've burned out any of the decent ideas they've ever been able to think up in the past few years.

We've had 6 years of the same damn thing, excluding UT. I think it's time to call it quits...

Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit 2 is what the majority wish for to happen, but what're the chances of becoming reality? Pretty darn low.

Spike's the team dev'ing the DBZ games so lets see if they can come up with an RPG instead of a 2D/3D like UB.

Fighting DBZ games may sell more than RPG DBZ so this may be why, there's not much of RPG Z's.

@dbboxkaifan It isn't because RPG's don't sell as well that they go with the fighting genre, it's simply due to the lack of time. In no way is possible for them to produce a decent RPG within less then a year to do so, especially considering the fact they fail to make a decent fighting game within a year. With a fighting game, once you've got your direction down, it's simple; make characters and build upon them continuously. Eventhough it may not be as easy as I've made it out to be, moreso in the first steps of development, once you've got a base and one game down, the sequels are supposed to much easier to develop. It's not like an RPG or adventure game where you'll be having to create whole new story lines, quests, things to do etc etc. with each individual game and sequel.

Even then however, Spike tends to flop massively in what they are paid to do.
