Do you disagree? Why? What can you add that is helpful and engaging to the conversation?

To be honest, I have explained it one too many times. He knows fine well what I think from other topics. It's quite frankly pointless trying to explain it to him again.VegettoEX wrote:Please only post if you have something useful to add.FNF wrote:*Cringe*...

I'm not sure that really suggests anything. King Cold could've been suppressed too, judging by his obvious "Freeza's second-form"-inspired design. Of course, nothing but conjecture really suggests that either.FNF wrote:I see King Cold around 50% Freeza's level. Gohan appeared to be the only one who knew that Freeza could get stronger than what he was showing when he arrived on Earth which leads me to believe he was at 50% since he was the only one that felt Freeza's Ki go beyond 50% (Gohan: “To top it off, it looks like Freeza’s ki is getting bigger again…! What’s happening!?”) and King Cold is said to be around that level. Maybe King Cold could get a bit more powerful but I could see his absolute maximum being 100 million.

Well as you point out I do say he might have been able to power up. I'm just not too sure if it's suggested he could power up. I mean, King Cold just goes 'I haz ur sWWord derP' and attacks him without him 'powering up'.Piccolo Daimao wrote:I'm not sure that really suggests anything. But we both agree on his absolute maximum being 100 million anyway.
Jeice supported Ginyu vs Goku when he was around the same level as 50% Freeza is compared to SSjin Goku/Mecha Freeza. He could easily be used as support for Freeza.Fox666 wrote:It seems plausible that he could control his power like Freeza did after his first transformation.
But Cold is nowhere as weak as Freeza's 50%. Freeza was confident he could help against Goku, so I assume he could only be marginally lower than Freeza's original 120 million.
He was so arrogant that he couldn't accept what he was seeing. He rationalized that Trunks couldn't be stronger than his son in every aspect, that he only killed him with luck and due to the aid of his sword. So, without the sword, he would be nothing (or at least inferior to Freeza and to himself).OzzyApu wrote:Throw Gohan in there surpassing his dad when he was at his SSJ2 and Mystic peaks (basically when he attained them).Saiga wrote:Somebody not out-doing their father is a lot rarer in Dragon Ball.I can really only think of Future Trunks (if you count Gotenks as outdoing Goku/Vegeta).
As for Cold, he had to have another form. Freeza did, and if you want to count Cooler then throw him in, too. Cold was only going to Earth in the first place because of curiosity and mainly because Freeza wanted to get revenge. He was probably confident enough with his power when Trunks killed Freeza, otherwise he would have transformed as a precaution. Then again, he thought it was all in the sword, which makes practically no sense considering Cold's own power and the fact that it was a sword (though you could argue being caught off-guard and all that).
Hey, that's exactly the same as me.dprez wrote:I have him at 100,000,000 compared to Mecha Freeza's full power of 140,000,000.
