Hey guys, I want to tattoo the Shenron from Super Dragon Ball Z on my shoulder blade.
This is the one:
I'm sorry I've been asking for so much shit lately but, has anyone got a clean image of that specific Shenron? Or is anyone skilled enough to clean it? I want to do it as soon as possible.

Thanks dude! Yeah, definitely the last one. Unfortunately, colours and that much detail will be painfully expensive. I'm wondering if it will look good enough shadowed with just some details outlined like the nails, teeth, eyes and the Dragon Ball itself. By shadowed I mean, all black, not grey scaled.

Just my personal preference, I'd say don't get it coloured. In my opinion some coloured tattoo's start to look tacky in time. My friend recently had a sleeve finished and the colour looks terrible and you just know it will look worse in 30 years time. Some coloured tattoo's do like quite nice, but if you're thinking of having Shenron coloured, which would be green, I think it would like quite bad after time.
Some examples:

Personally I'd say leave it Black and Grey with some slight colour, like white shading on the finger nails and teeth etc. I guess it depends on who is doing the Tattoo as well.
A member on this forum got a Shenron tattoo, not sure if he left it black and grey or got it coloured in the end:

I've been saying it ever since the first post, I DON'T want it coloured. I want either grey scale or black shadow.

I thought that was pretty clear.

Nope, just you talking about how expensive colour is.
Apologies, was just offering my own opinions.

Gratitude, didn't mean to offend, your opinion is well appreciated. ;)

Ok, close, but not quite what I had in mind. Shenron is one scaly bastard, all them details will cost me a fortune and hurt like a motherfucker. What I was thinking was something closer to the Super DBZ logo, in which Shenron is all black (shadow) with just some details in white. The details in white should be the nails and eyes, the Dragon Ball itself and I'm thinking perhaps the two long whiskers and the horns. What do you guys think? By white I mean just a black outline.

Getting there but it looks a bit odd. Do you reckon it would look better with the teeth outlined too? And maybe the inside of it's mouth should be clear as well. Also if possible, maybe getting rid of the small whiskers on the side and the curves in his body. I know it will make it look different from the original, but I think it will look better for a tattoo and also bearing in mind the rule of less detail = less money. One final thing is that I would prefer to have the one star ball instead of the four star.
I'm sorry for all the work and I thank you very very much for doing this for me.
Edit: No wait! I was comparing all the versions and I realized that maybe all of Shenron's belly side (the cream curvy body) and lower jaw would look good if all white. I'm thinking that in that way you can make out more that it is Shenron.

I think logo 8 is the one. I'll just need second opinions but for me I think that's it.
Dude! Thank you so much! :3

I like number 8 but in my opinion I'd go for this one:

I know you said earlier in the thread the more detailed the image the more expensive it will cost you, but if it was me I'd wait and save up some money and get that Shenron above with more detail. Yep, it will most probably hurt like hell, but it's on your body for the rest of your life.
