Conan, yes I'm a guy. Yes, that's a picture of me as my avatar. Yes, I have a girl's name - it's French, my family's not.
Good points about weird name: I've never met another guy with it, it makes me special by default.
Bad points: It's a girl's name. And I've heard I have two cousins with that name. Girl cousins. One of my friend's cousins is named Desiré. His girl cousin. None ever pronouces it right the first dozen times, it's Desiré (dez-err-ray), not desire (dez-ire).

Ah well, C'est la vie.

Found one, a guy from another forum hooked me up with this. EDIT: I removed the link, El_Diablo said there's something disturbing about its source? I don't know, in case something is up, I'll just be sticking with my regular Kal-El avatar.

"Désiré" is a guy's name. "Désirée" is a girl's name. It's like "René" and "Renée", just wanted to clear that up.

Yeah, that's what I've come to understand... but I still don't spell it right (just one acent for me), though I've heard it's considered femine to only have one accent (though the only French I kow is Quebec French, which is apparenly wildly different from real French).

Oh well.

Conan - Damnit! I'm bad it online emotion, I should learn to use those "emotion icons" everyone is so fond of. I'm not upset, just a little sad - I get that all the time (I was almost placed in a female dorm room because of such confusion).

The dude that gave me it just said he edited it down from something, I assume it's from a fanart drawing. If it's from something disturbing, I'll remove the link.

"Desire" with acute accents on both Es make for a man's name in French, but unfortunately the way you have it, with just an accent on the last E, is a woman's name in "American French."

And Quebec French is just more... "strict" than French from anywhere else. The differences come from the anti-English mentality that Seperatists feel, so when French evolved, like all other languages do, to incorporate words from other languages, Quebec French refused to change in the same fashion. That's why the French (from France) stare at you when you say "arrete" instead of "stop."

That looks distinctly like a Pandora image. One of the best DBZ hentai artists out there. Don't recognize that particular shot though.

Conan the SSJ: Yep, that picture was from a Pandora pic. And I remember exactly which one. If you think that's disturbing, there's a certain part of my site you shouldn't visit.

I can still draw one for you myself. Even if you didn't want it anymore, it wouldn't be difficult, and I got nothing else to do right now anyway.
