No Gotenks? (in DBGT)

I was wondering why they didn't use gotenks in Gt.(Not in the story, in reality.) We're there copyright issues or something?

I think what Rocketman meant was that Goku was the main focus for pretty much all of GT. Other great characters like Gohan, Uub and even Vegeta got much less screen time. Because of the fan's demand for more Goku, characters like Gotenks didn't get seen at all.

Not everyone, remember some folks here haven't even watched GT. Regarding Gotenks, Goten did suggest using it in the final battle against Oozaru Bebi-Vegeta, Trunks and even Gohan agreed, but Goku wanted the spot light...and to wipe out the last trace of Tuffle existence. He is a pure Saiyan, after all.

Plus Gotenks as a SSj3 was around the same strength as Goku as a SSj3. Gotenks in GT would have been a lot weaker than Goku as a SSj4.

:? Gotenks should've got some screentime. :( Dragonball's got too much Goku as it is, and Z was supposed to be Gohan's story...

:roll: I'm actaully happy that Goku's never coming back! But, since we'll never get a sequel, it only leaves us to guess what a Goku-less world is like...

Well, if we ever got a sequel, Goku'd return...Toei'd make some kind of loophole in Shenlong's powers...like sending him to join the Straw Hat Pirates...

We can only dream... :cry:
I really, really need to get back into the habit of posting.

Well, SSJ 4 Goku was about as powerful as Saiya-jin Saga Vegeta, so that means that Gotenks had to be the strongest warrior ever.

True, but you can't really say "Z is about Gohan", when he doesn't become the hero until 3/4 of the way through it.

The first time was suppossed to end with Goku dieing along with planet Namek. Then it was continued to Goku dieing in the Cell games AND then he finaly ended it with Buu with Goku flying off....Poor guy just wanted Goku to go nobely :lol:
