DBZ on FUNimation Channel?
I was wondering if anybody knew if DB, DBZ, and/or DBGT were going to be on Funimations new channel? I figured it would, but I'm not sure.

You don't really have to worry about bothering with that URL tag. Just copy and paste the link.
The URL tag is usually used, I think, if people want to change the text of the link (so that it's not the URL).
Example: Funimation Channel

Boy, CN sure is selfish! And I thought it was a kid channel, too.You know, sharing and all the other stuff kids are taught.(Then again, there is adult swim...The Mole wrote:They won't put DragonBall on due to CartoonNetwork owning the rights to put them on tv, or something like that. It has nothing to do with being "selfish". It's just how copyright laws works.Saiya-jin wrote:Boy, CN sure is selfish! Beside, nearly the entire series is out on DVD, so really, it doesn't matter if a channel is airing it or not.
I know about copyrights, I was just saying that. And some people don't have DVDs, so it would be nice to see them on the Funimation channel.Domon wrote:It has nothing to do with being "selfish". If you don't have the dvd's and chances are the FUNI channels not going to show it...you could just watch it on Cartoon Network weeknights. Isn't that what we've all been doing for the last 8-10 years anyways?Saiya-jin wrote:I know about copyrights, I was just saying that. If you don't have the DVDs and watch to watch it... err... umm... buy the DVDs ^^;;. They're so ridiculously cheap, go right ahead and pick up random parts of the series you want!

Hey VegettoEX...what's the average price for an older DBZ dvd? (I mean the ones that came out a while back, not the "Ultimate Uncut" or any brand new ones.) I seem to remember a site where old Freeza saga dvds were like 10 bucks? That seems to good to be true though.VegettoEX wrote:Certainly notthe1payday wrote:If you don't have the dvd's and chances are the FUNI channels not going to show it...you could just watch it on Cartoon Network weeknights. You're probably thinking of DeepDiscountDVD.com (and no, it's not a bootleg site). Ginyu, Freeza, & Trunks discs are $8.99, Cell discs are $11.99, some movies are $14.99... and so on. Or join an online rental site. Unlimited DVDs for $30 a month. Mwahahaha!!VegettoEX wrote:You're probably thinking of DeepDiscountDVD.com (and no, it's not a bootleg site). Of course, you can take one of the smaller packages that are like $5 a month for 2 DVDs at most.

We do Netflix. With the scandals of throttling going on with both them and Blockbuster, I'd be wary about signing up with anyone until this stuff blows over and they take their heads out of their asses.Dayspring wrote:Or join an online rental site. Unlimited DVDs for $30 a month. Mwahahaha!!![]()

Owning stuff is always nicer, anyway

I'm a member of zip.ca since they're the only proven-legit Canadian site. Cheapest, too.VegettoEX wrote:We do Netflix. That and I'm ashamed to admit I turn the other direction when my brother bootlegs everything we rent...
