Making a request.

Post by Chibikan » Thu Mar 30, 2006 7:50 pm

Hey, I'm making a fanart request and I'm hoping someone will be willing to help me. I'm currently writing a DBZ fanfiction and what is a good epic without a few illustrations eh? If someone would be willing to read it, as I write it, and draw a few pieces of art for some of the chapters, I'd be most grateful.

I'm not sure such a request belongs in this forum, as it's for videos - you might want to try requesting in this thread.

That said, many posters here are good (in some cases outstanding!) asrtists.
-LeoTaku has several distinct styles - all of which are breathtaking.
-SSj Kaboom's style is close to Toriyama's, but with a distinct 'modern' edge.
-Mr. Announcer is (not 'is like', 'is') Toriyama circa 1990. His style is emulates early Toriyama perfectly.
-Bejita is Toriyama circa 1995. Not only is he the best late style Toriyama emulator, he's also incredibly knowledgable about the minute visual details (can you tell a SSj from a SSj2 by the aura? He can!).
-And DBZ MAN's skill is growing by leaps and bounds, he's the quickest study I've ever seen.

DBZ MAN and SSj Kaboom are currently taking requests, and Leo Taku might soon too.

And I'm always glad to help out anybody... plus I'm half decent if I do say so myself.

It says at the top that this is both the Video and ART discussion and I being new couldn't find anywhere else. And a girl gets desperate especially since at times she needs a visual or she gets serious blockage. As for style, I'm just looking for someone who can get close to the original character styles while still getting somewhat out of the box and is also able to manipulate colors to their liking, like the colors of a sunset.

Well, I can draw an original character, half-decent. I'm not sure what you mean by 'manipulate colors to their liking' but I'm sure I can get you something you'll like :P

The "Art" written out is intended to discuss the artistic side of AMVs... not fan-art. The subject header for the forum section is indeed "Anime Music Videos". There is nothing to do with fanart, specifically, on this forum... it's not a focus of our website.
