Yeah, the art style is a little weird at first, but I still like it. Some of the characters' heads are a little too big for me, but whatever.

Definitely the first time I've seen Goten with nyoi-bo.

Wow, I just noticed! Gokuu has ribbons on his boots! Or maybe their just cloth laces...either way, it's different from the previous design.

I can't tell if the ribbons are new either. @_@
Whenever I draw Goku with boots I always have ribbons/boot-laces there and I don't know where I got that from so it's doubly-confusing for me. It makes me think he had them at some earlier point in the series though (in a similar way to how his "GO" kanji reappeared for this movie).

I feel like Herms did a Goku's gi's thread a long while ago. I'll see if I can find it see what I find.

I find their thickness to be kind of off putting. Look at Trunks' arm!

I still love this art work though.There is this specific sort of style Toriyama has when he makes colored artwork. I can't quite define it but it's very unique. Maybe it has something to do with his pallete choice or how he colors.

What do you think of Funimation cast pronouncing the word ''Tarble'' in the new movie ?
Neither English Dub nor other dubs have something to do with the 2008 Special .
Tarble exists only in Japan !

Correct me if I'm wrong, but in the film Tarble isn't directly referred to by name. I think Bulma probably says something to the effect of:
"Hey, don't you have a brother?"

There's a new UK trailer for Star Trek Into Darkness and Chris Pine says a line that's very Goku/Heroic-esque. After hearing this, I tried to fit his voice with Goku and it's not a bad fit. If they were to re-dub the movie for English audiences, I'd probably wouldn't mind Chris Pine voicing Goku.

I don't think that's Goku-esque at all, nor do I think his voice fits (unless I'm listening to the wrong line). Maybe I can kind of see it with Goku after he transforms into Super Saiyan for the first time, but I can definitely not see the Goku who runs over and asks if you want to go at it, saying something like that.

And what does that say?
I used Google translate and it says ''Origin, I'm not. Toriyama is a teacher Uisu birrus was the way I thought.'' that doesn't sound right...Is Google translate good?

Now my first idea sounds more plausible: his name is pun for virus (ビールス) and Toriyama thought up the name Uisu after a synonymous word uirusu (virus).

That explains a lot. Bilus is the God of Destruction, but him referencing Freeza and being so knowledgeable of SSJG seems kinda out of place in BOG, until you find out that the original idea was to have Bilus directly involved with the Saiyans. Wow.

But , they will never learn ( at least the new generation ) who Tarble was , because ( as it seems ) the 2008 OVA is a special region-locked episode ( just like Goku's Traffic Safety , Goku's Fire Brigade , Goku's World , Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans , Episode of Bardock ) .
Besides , Tarble is not even a canon character ...

Or Babidi.
Or Garlic Jr....I can see why they went with something else.

By the way, Episode of Bardock came with DBZ for Kinect. Oh, and I don't think region-locked is the right choice of words...it's just more difficult to obtain the rights for it because of the whole Shueisha thing.
