D.O.N. Battlestadium Confirmed Characters

I thought I'd go ahead and get the jump on this! We've only seen two screens, but from them, we've been able to extract a few characters from them, and since the game does have three of the best anime ever in it, I say we keep it regularly updated with all the new screens!

Dragonball Z:
-Son Goku (SSJ)

One Piece:
-Monkey D. Luffy
-Tony Tony Chopper

Naruto:
-Uzumaki Naruto

You have to squint to be sure, but in several of the actual gameplay screens (not just the "WINNER" pose) we can see:

Dragonball Z:
-Son Goku (base)

A sidenote: Chaos, what happened to your Freeza post? I had a reply all worked up, but ended up posting into thin air. Did you delete it?

I hope to see a bunch of DBZ characters, obviously.

I hope they put Hinata from Naruto in the game.

And, no offense, but I don't really care what One Piece characters they put in the game. But is it only those 3 animes?

The three anime series, yes. Dragonball Z + One Piece + Naruto = D.O.N. BattleStadium.

With just those three series, I think we could see at least ten characters imported from each.

Am I the only one who would be angry playing this game? I mean, SSj Goku get's beaten by Luffy? Or worse yet, Naruto? Maybe it's just me.

Although I haven't watched either of the other series, I don't really see how it would be different than, say, Mr. Satan or the Ginyu Force beating him in the Budokai series...

Which I also dispise.

I guess I'm just not the 'fighting game type'. I've always been the 'RPG type'.

I agree, though I love fighting games, I'm more of an RPG guy. I'd rather see something like a Kingdom Hearts-esque game where you go to the different worlds of Shonen Jump characters.

I'd rather see something like a Kingdom Hearts-esque game where you go to the different worlds of Shonen Jump characters.

Though not a RPG, the Adventure mode of Jump Superstars did such a thing with interlocking Jump worlds. ^_~

I hope that characters in different forms are counted as one person rather than that silly seperate nonsense in Sparking. ( Right normal Goku meet SSJ4 Goku- wonder who will win... SSJ4 Goku produces a giant Genki-dama and you're gone BOM!).
It would be sweet if you had Boudokai style transformations, and be able to change Choppers go Demon/Sexy Naruto real time.
As for English it'd be up in the air as I'm not sure who has rights for the games.

I think Atari has the rights to D.O.N. , though DBZ is done by Atari, One Piece by Bandai, and Naruto by Tomy.

Actually, Naruto is done by either Bandai or Tomy, depending on the game. The Gekitou Ninja Taisen (Clash of the Ninja in the US), Saikyou Ninja Daikeshuu (Ninja Counsel in the US) and the Naruto RPG series are done by Tomy, while the Narutimatte Hero series and the one-shot Uzumaki Ninden were published by Bandai. Since this game is being published by Bandai in Japan, just as the previous DBZ games were, either Atari or Bandai USA could release this in America.

Hard work > Golden Hair.

Watching SSJs getting defeated by weaker characters is actually one of my favorite things in DBZ games.

Actually, I like nothing more than that. XD I mean, in a typical Budokai 2 playthrough I have, for example, Mr. Satan defeating Freeza, Yamucha defeating Cell and Kuririn showing Kid Buu all corners of the arena.
Usopp defeating Majin Vegeta! Yay! XD
